I am missing something. My Slicer, Chitubox, doesnt use .svg. It uses .svgx and .stl. The video seems to use .svg and .stl interchangeably. Is a .svg file an .stl file?

I don't ever "like" tutorial videos, however this one earned. Short, straight to the point, and immediately worked. So 5 out of 5 🌟 from me. thank you!

How do you convert that series of triangles to a smooth curve?

Take the cardinal at the end into tinkercad. How do you fill all the open space in tinkercad so that you can 3D print later? My file is just open space when I follow your steps to that point.

Was the meta fillet shape tool available a year ago when this video was made? And where is it?

If you're printing miniature models for wargaming (D&D, Warhammer 40K, etc) USE LIGHTNING at 32.0% infill. This will give you the fastest print times, use less filament, and ensure that all the internal top surfaces of the model are supported with no bridges greater than 2mm.
@IamMrDisasterАй бұрын
You are conflating layer height with squish since you didn't also increase the nozzle size. For example if you had .3mm layer height with a .2mm nozzle it could look worse than a .3mm layer height with a .4mm nozzle. Squish is an important factor.

Thanks for the video! 2 questions: 1) isn't Li-I a scintillation material which emits light, instead of gamma ray? 2) how come being a specific size for the rem ball makes it directly relate to the neutron dose equivalent weighting factor?

Can you do a follow up please after a year or so im thinking about buy this exact sauna. Is it a Chinese brand? How is customer service?
@OverExtrudedPhysicistАй бұрын
Hi there, wasn't planning on doing a follow up as (good news) everything has worked great. I have had zero issues at all. I haven't had to contact customer service so I don't have advice for that. But still love the sauna, use it often, love the convenience, the setup, I turn it on and leave it for 30 minutes and when I come back it's at around 140. So no instant, but I'm willing to make that trade off no having to deal with steam saunas. It's big enough for two skinny people so a single person plenty of room, I've had no issues whatsoever. I dont regret buying it for a minute. Obviously there are some limitations with size, time to heat, other fancy features, but for a basic first sauna I'd recommend it. If you have any questions specifically feel free to ask, I'm happy to help as I know it was a bit daunting making a decision when I bought this

HVL/TVL really depends on energy(source). For Ir-192, TVL of concrete and lead should be 15cm and 0.83 cm.

Thanks for the great intro to blender. Is there a way to make a basic stl into a more “mathy” type file- like something where it’s a CAD surface, not a bunch of triangles? Sorry, I don’t know what the term would be.

What's the name of the guy right there? How about the little blob guy? Anyway, thanks for posting this video. I can now proceed to try 2mm distance if it will make any improvements on my printing. Currently I'm using 0.4mm nozzle as the default that comes with my Ender 3 V3 SE. I'm super curious to test this now. Again, thank you for your evaluation and testing video.

Would the ender 3 v3 ke be better it’s cheaper it has limit rails for x and 1 year warrantee
@OverExtrudedPhysicist3 ай бұрын
I think it depends on preference. The MK4 is very well known and loved by many. Personally, my first printer was an Ender 3 and it's been an absolute beast. So I'd prob lean toward the ender, but I've also never had a Prusa so maybe I'm missing out
@RunnerFlood3 ай бұрын
I bought myself a Ender 3 V3 SE and i must say i cant see any difference between 60-120-180 Speed Quality besides it prints much faster. Everything above 180 for me is a mess since my 3d printer even supports a speed up to 250.

I would look at the Creality Ender 3 ($175) and you can buy cheap filament on amazon for $20. Not necessarily cheap, but more affordable than most thing and that's a quality setup honestly
