Wow! This would definitely be worth having a whole podcast dedicated to. I knew Dukowski left ownership in '89 and worked there after (thought until the early 90s), however I had no idea he worked there till 1999-2000! From what I recall (read/heard), he left after learning Ginn was keeping the royalties from many of the bands.

I used to stay at the Chelsea every time I was in NYC. Last time I think it was around $200 a night around 2008. Pretty sure that the last room we stayed in was haunted

I was watching your review because I'm doing an assignment for school and I just realized something. 7:07 I think you might be right and it was in his head. My reason being, his mom said how the boy BABYSITTING him had SA'd him. This could've been him reliving moments in his head of what happened. They were flooding out in a way because of how long his mind had repressed these memories from him, so he was experiencing extreme episodes of schizophrenia and PTSD (or CPTSD). SA'ers" can haunt their victims' minds for years, for their whole life even. This is all of course just a guess, but I thought that was cool. I love this movie so much.

I got a problem with Michael graves

Yeah misfits had a lot of misogyny and violence in their lyrics. When I want to cover a misfits song I usually gotta skip over a lot of the classics because questionable lyrics in my opinion at least

Legs never gave Howie the piece to proof read which was the agreement, years earlier. Legs put this out while Howie was in the hospital thinking he’d be too busy fighting for his life to care but Howie still told him off and demanded a revision. I offered to have the tape transcribed so the actual material could be legitimately quoted. Legs agreed and has yet to follow through. This was the last thing beyond his health that Howie was angry and felt betrayed about. I promised to make it right and at some point I will. We knew people would use Howie’s death as a cheap way to get attention, legs just happened to jump on it before he died.

Part 3 sucked.

Bad bosses are the worst! Can still remember my first “real-world” job (2010) and my boss a.k.a. “the Toad” 🐸 and how he’d slobber over every woman that walked by him… Have lived a couple different lives since then and the memories are still so fresh, it hurts. Sorry it happened to you, Jeff- - very, relatable nevertheless. Especially with everything going on at that time. Well done, sir.

hey i got an episode idea, do one on all of DeeDee Ramones solo albums, he made like 4 or 5 albums which are pretty good the ICLC album with Daniel Ray is awesome. I even think the Dee Dee King album is good, to me its not even rap its punk!

HR might b nuts but for my money best frontman ever and incredibly talented, the entire band was.

“If they’re musicians, why can’t they write songs?” The answer to your question is, just because you can play music doesn’t mean you can create music. Even if those guys can write, the question at that point is, can they write Cro Mags songs? Probably not because the Cro Mags sound is Harley and Parris’ combined songwriting style.

All I got to say is I imagine he has had a lot of girls thrown at him and that I imagine sometimes there's drugs, alcohol, anarchy, peer pressure, etc involved. Not saying that makes it alright but when you add crap like that into the mix I can understand how things might get crazy. I don't know what a A:F show is/was like and can't really say that's how they get down but that's what most rock stars do no? Anyways I read the story online and I don't really believe that a young girl from Brooklyn that took public transportation when she was adolescent now all of the sudden has her own car at like what 17?, and drives very far out to the country. You would have to drive for hours to get to the country from Brooklyn. What parent from Brooklyn is going to buy their teenager a car and let them stay out all night long and drive far far away?! No parent. Also why would you go on the Internet when all you have to do is make a statement to the authorities? It just doesn't make sense to me. There is so many questionable things in the story and that is what makes it a farfetched story. What man is going to go alone in a car with some stranger that they've just met that happens to be a young lady and let her drive him around late at night to some after-party knowing that it's past the young ladies bedtime and knowing damn well he will probably have to answer to her parents about it? Any man would be on their best behavior. Especially if they're a big fan of your band. But the story says he was a horndog creep in the car. I think the band did the right thing by trusting the allegations to be true and immediately break up for violating their tenant. I don't care about gossip and or what some metalhead has to say I just still can't believe it. 20 minutes of watching this crap is enough for me. It's like an hour long
