Wtf? Drill Sergeants made Us beat tf outta each other til the Drill Sergeants got tired of watching! Ear protection foam flying outta helmets... was brutal.

I remember it being far more intense. My company really competed. 1-61 Charlie Co Roughnecks. I even came up with a strategy for the platoon. Being that I was the fastest and above average on strength and endurance, I elected to anchor and have the weaker soldiers go first...it paid off. We got to the high crawl at the end and the last 3 for the other platoons were almost halfway across. I dropped straight down and passed them. A 160lbs 6-2 dude smoked everybody with a headstart. Then did my push-ups at the end before they finished. Good times.
