If you do a muffler / resonator delete will you lose the ability to make it louder and quieter with race mode/ normal mode for exhaust?

I have been thinking of doing this to mine for about a year now, so i am pretty sure now im gonna do it now after seeing this video. Great job guys but what brand of bed liner did you use and did you run into any issues? thank you for posting this great video.
@nealkortes85192 ай бұрын
I called Rhino Liner, and they told me that it couldn't be done as the paint doesn't stick to the roof of the jeeps and peels right off. What issues did you experience before you traded the jeep in?

Did you have a blow off valve installed as well or is this stock, minus the cold air intake.

Hey nice vid BUT you are removing the spring incorrectly. DO NOT use a puller. Compress the spring and remove the LOCK halfs. Think VALVE SPRING LOCKS.

Половина того что продается подделка. Ставят не нормальные конденсаторы а какуюто ерунду из бумаги . в ютюбе много видео с переделкой ( замене на нормальные) . Стоит лет десять. И работает. Эффект не безумный но видимый.❤

Did you guys use an ordinary paint roller for this? It looked like it had different fiber material in the roller pad. Also can you share me the link to how you did the fenders? I have a 2024 Willys and I think this DIY mod would give it great touch. Thanks.

Question: It looks like it turned out great. I want to paint a guitar pickguard (a pickguard is a flat piece of shaped material that is under the strings where people generally strum holds the pickups and covers the electronics and screwed into the wooden body with a bunch of screws). I'd like to paint a piece of anodized black aluminum to nice off-white color. In this video your project came out a very nice looking color and you mentioned it will hold up well. So when you play guitar you are strumming with a hard little piece of plastic called a pick over and over. So generally, it will scrap against the pickguard over and over, and I am sure you have seen old beat-up guitars where the strumming has really worn it down. My question is when you paint this do you think it will hold up pretty well for some time or will it instantly start looking like garbage? The black anodized aluminum pickguard is all I can find. Any suggestions beyond your video?

That was a well done video, however, it did not cover what I have a question about. I recently purchased a Ruger 22/45 Lite, which has an anodized aluminum (red) barrel shroud. I want to paint highlight details on the shroud, but do not know if any paint will adhere to anodized aluminum. Do you know anything about that subject? I paid extra for that color, and do not want to strip it to bare metal.

One tiny LED light would take months of no driving and recharging for that to ever happen. If the battery is good the light should never be a concern.

Great video! This gives me some confidence for success on my project. Planning to smoke out most of the "chromed" plastic parts on my Honda VTX 1800. Got the adhesion promoter, the metal cast smoke, and some K2 Clear. These parts are super visible so I'm a little nervous but it's just paint. I can always redo it if it doesn't turn out right.

It doesn't have as nice if a surface finish appearance as an anodized polished part though. I wonder if using a chrome base coat will give it a smoother finish appearance.

WRONG, have you ever fine tuned a car without a voltage stabilizer? I used this for 7-8 years now and its amazing, make my engine run quieter and helps me a lot for fine tuning, as for extra grounding? wtf, why is that bad? Second, you installed it wrong, it says in the manual wires down not up.

whats the point of even anodizing if you end up spray painting it lol.. also that intro song is aids.
@midnightmodgarage7740 Жыл бұрын
It's not anodizing. It's painting an anodized part to restore. No points participation in this conversation.

Hey guys im getting aluminium wheels for my losi baja rey rc car and I would like to paint the beadlocks anodised blue is there any other paint that I will need to buy to do the job I already have the blue anodised paint the same as what you have please any help would be good thank you
@midnightmodgarage7740 Жыл бұрын
I would suggest an adhesion promoter spray to use as the very first layer before anything else. This will help ensure a very thick overall coverage once all the light coats are built up. Then for a top coat a few layers of a high heat, uv resistant, and non yellowing clear. This will protect the color from fading, chipping and changing color from the heat. Hope it's not too late for a response. I did see that you asked this several days ago. Sorry for the delayed response. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!!!

When spraying what is the ideal setting to get a less rough texture? More or less psi?
@midnightmodgarage7740 Жыл бұрын
I believe it's a happy medium depending on viscosity of the paint your spraying optimal atomization is the goal. But the PSI is going to differ depending on the viscosity of the paint being used. Something that's textured is going to be very heavy. I hope this helps. This is why we use a gallon jug and rollers.

Why paint the top part that no one sees I'd like just the sides
@midnightmodgarage7740 Жыл бұрын
Painting the roof as well seals the whole top, thereby preventing the roof from peeling even more, which would then affect the newly painted sides, and creates a nice uniformity.

Metal cast alone is already a transparent colored clear coat. no need for an extra can of clear coat
