Youre right. I just beat it last night and i wish i knew this. I didnt know what the hell the boards and chips were for until my gun stopped working. Thought it was a glitch until i figured out it was that towards the end of the game.

How to skip the shooting range

It's much easier with the double jump upgrade. And you managed to pick it up on stage 1, really lucky! I've never even seen it in all my runs so far

As a souls player the only soul mechanic is the checkpoint. Dodging is in every game, can't say that's a souls mechanic, it's a palworld mechanic...

What makes this game great is there are so many viable builds. Yeh, you can look up build guides and get the most efficient ones but you can also just wing it with the knowledge provided in game and still have an easy time on apocolypse. I'm running the fae armor set (cause it looks badass) Bulldog shotgun with bandit mut/fir rounds mod Double barrel shotgun side arm with lighting ball mod Specter sword that with corrosion mut. Corrosion gas on weapon switch amulet. +10% elemental damage Shock on perfect dodge Faster reload Charged melee attacks cause bleed. Challenger prime and gunslinger archetypes. I'm always causing some kind of DOT and the bulldog crushes with all the fire rate and reload rate stacks.

I like the ritualist/engineer. Flamethrower+enigma is pretty solid with the right rings and amulet

200h into the game and there are still things I didn’t know like boss traits I knew a few mostly those like empathy and all the ones that do physical things like cloner but the other ones were always ignored by me and probably will be ignored in the future

It's such a great game

For #7: Barkskin is a separate source of damage reduction from armor so it’s multiplicative with it. Armor reducing 25.4% means you have 74.6% to still reduce, so barkskin only blocks 10% of that 74.6, or 7.46. Hence the final result of 32.9. Statistically it looks like it has diminishing returns, aka 50% DR from armor = 5% more DR from barkskin. But going from 70% DR -> 80% is blocking 1/3rd of incoming damage, while going from 0 -> 10% is only 1/10th

*SOFT-LOCK GLITCH:* On the Street Vultures' Turf mission, the side quest, Unwanted Goods, can lock you out of progressing, possibly if you shoot multiple boxes at the same time, yet you can't leave the area unless you pass it, locking you out of being able to beat the game. I'm going to reload my game. Hopefully I don't have to restart the entire thing. *UPDATE:* Restarting from checkpoint can help you. Weird that it happened, however.

my tip is to play coop as much as possible to get the XP to level up characters faster and find good loot. I scored most of the new classes except for Explorer that way so far and good armor weapon sets and beating bosses was way easier to play with others. Explore and smash everything!

Difficulties also reward different relic fragment tiers. You can't get mythic-level on lower difficulties.
