I’m about to buy a PS5 slim and I’m definitely going for the disc edition. For digital, it is a bit handy not having to change discs to play different games, but who can be that lazy?? 😂

I been with xbox since 2001 loyal as they come just switch to playstation 5 slim all digital yes I like spider 🕷 man 1 Miles Morelaes spider 🕷 man 2 Rachet clank Rift Apart Grand turismo 7 it's Fire 🔥 for them games but everytning is trash 🗑 the design is ugly the controller 🎮 is uncomfortable everything feels cheap also my slim just died after 1 month of use none of my xbox never died on me sony just sent me other playstation 5 last week smh 🙇‍♂️ the ps5 is overrated also overhyped I Rather play gears of ear 12345 than any uncharted Game with them annoying puzzles 🧩 Respectfully 💯

Out of the 3 games he mention, 2 of them are included with the PlayStation pass that cost like $18 a month. For $18 a month he could have played the ratchet and clank and returnal game instead of paying $70 for them or buying them on Amazon

If you can just get one, get a PS5. I have a Series X and got it last Christmas. Just got a PS5 a week ago and it's like night and day. Xbox is good but PS5 is better. And the games available are better.

I just got a digital one today as it is £350 right now and the new model you can add the disc drive later, so for me it saves money in the short term and I can get the disc drive for Christmas. I already have the Xbox series X so I can play disc games for the most part.

pc and non disc ps5 for me, will use the ps5 mainly to play with some friends, COD, R6, GTA and some other games, and my main game station is my pc

You don't need an xbox if you have a pc. Get game pass and an xbox controller. PS5 is more immersive and has better exclusives. Not to mention that the PS5 performs better in a lot of multi-plat titels and has a better storage solution.

most of these are preferences, i am more on competitive games and because of that I choose the Xbox, the only reason id choose the PS5 over the Xbox is if I was into story games which I'm not, same with the controller, i hate vibrations and things like that so for me there's no reason to choose the ps5 controller.

Not only that. Going the Disc version also enables you to play disc games that are not available on the PS Store for your region! I've tried it myself. Plus, my internet is not as fast as most westerners, so if I could skip on waiting 9 hours for a 149GB games to download, I'd choose copying the disc ANYTIME! There are updates, sure, but only not as big as the main copy. Nothing I can do about that, anyway.

The backwards compatibility is a huge selling point. I can officially retire my ps4, or use it as a media box/ streamer/bluray player for a spare tv/monitor.

Disc is better because you can trade and with digital it’s a monopoly. You can also start a new account and keep your games or let your friends play for free

Good points around games and options. I got the Digital addition. I’m happy with it I went full digital on my ps4 pro years ago and haven’t used a hard copy game in a long time. I’m past the point of having stacks of games in my house. The. Digital works if you are interested in only digital makes sense if your not you will lose out hence why you choose the right 1 for you and try not to cut corners on a big console If I want a game I buy it I don’t care about the price just got cod didn’t bat eye lid. I don’t buy many’s games and make the most of what I have but when I do buy I don’t even look at the cost as I’m not buying them every month maybe 3 to 4 games a year at best. I get your points. In terms of trading games that’s like back to dinosaur days and it just isn’t worth trading in games no more they don’t hold any real value that’s worth me caring about a card copy.

I don’t mean to sound rude but anyone contemplating buying Ps5 digital, to save money, isn’t very bright. If you’ve been a gamer for a few years, you’ll know that digital is always more expensive. Brand new digital games actually cost around £10 more then physical. Digital is only good for deep sales or people with more money, can easily afford to pay more for a digital copy and really wants the convenience. Otherwise, you are limited to buying new oral games at a higher price or wait 8minths plus for sale.
