I think the idea is that Wobbuffet is like a mimic punching bag. A Fighting Type would destroy a normal punching bag, but Wobbuffet isn't a Normal punching bag, it's a Psychic punching bag. So Wobbuffet is a Psychic Type okiagari-kobōshi mimic punching bag ambush predator thing, why not?

I've always been weirdly upset with Decidueye being part ghost, mainly because we have so many of them compared to grass flying. However...as much as it pains me to say it, I can see why they went with ghost in the end. Flying would have been way more interesting to me, but it does make sense 😊.

I miss Mega Mawile... but I do not miss megas as a whole. The rough part is getting attached to a pokemon that can mega evolve, growing used to the power-up and the design you chose because it appeals to your specific tastes, and then getting to keep the pokemon but not getting to keep the mega. Z-moves and dynamax are harder to miss because they felt like a cool thing you experienced with your pokemon, not something that was inherent to them or your connection with them. Losing megas feels like watching a friend revert back to the middle school version of themself. You miss the version of your friend you watched them become
