I just have one rule don't go with out running more than one day , I give myself one day rest in-between not anything more that worked for me I think its Called the two day rule and even if its raining just go for it even if its less than one mile

I recently started university and I am really tight on time because of sport (I literlly do 20 hours a week I’m not joking I take it very serious). I would like to know if you bother taking notes in lectures ? For me transitioning from school to uni and it just feels like I’m covering 5 topics in one lecture and I just can’t take notes while the person is talking. I have tried making notes beforehand and so on but that takes up even more time. I make anki flashcards on top of that but I literally haven’t had time to practice them because of my time constraints. Would you recommend me stop taking notes and go straight into flashcards ? I’d really appreciate the help, also I’m studying biomed so it’s pretty intense as it is in terms of hours per week of lectures. A bit of contex as well, I use a boox tab ultra c pro e ink tablet to take notes and I do not currently have a laptop, I use my desktop in my accommodation to create the flashcards which sync onto the tablet. Pls help I don’t wanna fail 😂 I just feel like I’m putting so many hours in and not really doing the right stuff to remember the actual content. Any tips would be appreciated

If you make flashcards on your tablet like the note air , recommend making image inclusion flashcards from important lecture slide screen shots I made a video on how to do it with my iPad but it works with boox as well , it's pretty difficult because in a levels you had so much time for each topic but within university you don't have as much time so I recommend to just make flashcards on the important parts of the lectures and make inclusion flash cars if you don't have a desktop, but I like to just screenshot the head make it a question and then screenshot the rest of the rest of the lecture slide with my laptop because that's the quickest way for me plus more at university it relies on understanding rather than ropes memorisation especially for my degree so making mind maps helps me

Alright, thank you for the advice. I’ll definately have to try to understand a bit more chemistry as I didn’t take a level chem but I am doing biomed as a degree. Once again thank you!

Could you do a video on your time block method? I know it perhaps doesn't seem enough for one video, but I would like to see how you create a strong plan whilst allowing flexibilities for inevitable changes. I recently tried and struggled to stick to it at all but my use of Apple calendar over the last year isn't rigid enough for me as I can simply move stuff around; whereas I feel a plan in pen would make me stick to it.

I can try and explain now , I do it on paper because I can remember what I am doing better because it is always visible plus it is more a deeper experience then just on another productivity app , I number 1 task 2 task 3 task then just block out my day and really focus on the periods of the day where I want to be focused and leave evenings for spontaneity , if the plan changes I scribble it out and start are new one. hope that helps i will show it soon

I find I can reflect and remember my plan for my day better when have it in my journal that I have hand written and is always next to me , but I also use digital calendar as well to help recurring tasks and help me add things off for the future but generally in the night before I try and put everything in my Google calendar onto a piece of paper so I don't have to have my laptop open all the time.

Hey James, quite a daily routine you have going on! That studying for 6 hours ìs probably more than most students do. I've never been one to keep a journal because I find it kinda odd. I've seen some students start a journal, but then abandon it after a short while. Scheduling your daily routine seems to keep you accountable in completing your tasks. Maybe your viewers can take some pointers from you.😅😊

Daring to go all in is where true transformation begins! As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Take that leap, embrace the challenge, and invest wholeheartedly in your dreams for your courage will pave the way for success!
