Synthesia just made me panic. I can sight read and even though I haven’t advanced as much because of illness, because I can sight read, I can just go back to it. I have a bad memory as an adult (partly also to do with illness) but my sight reading has stayed with me, I’m very pleased to say. I’m also know that if I practice, I will absolutely and definitely get better. I want to advance now.

start left with an A (not a C), and right keep the C (an octave higher)... sounds beautiful...

That has been my problem all my life. I can play awesome with my right hand but my left hand is horrible. So much so, that I finally adapted my left hand just to play it as another instrument ( bass guitar) because I'm only playing it as one note. It gets the song across but it doesn't bring out the fullness of a song that I know a piano can do. Thanks for this video. Wish it was available 45 years ago when I first started.

Hey Jazer, I thought I should tell you that I would much prefer your KZbin name to be just Jazer Lee I thick it would be much better than your current name because it’s long and sorta bland. that’s all just letting you know ❤

hey, I'm 18, and I just have started learning to play the piano maybe months or weeks ago, along with my high school studies, and I barely could play with my both hands, i could play " I see the lights" from Tangled and part from "Carol of the bells" with both hands and I aimed to learn "River flows in you" even the easy version for the chords so I can memorize it better! and as i did that and i could play the 3 minutes of " River flows in you" in the easy version I i started to learn the medium one of the chords! BTW I learn by myself with no courses, just from KZbin videos, and I made a progress! maybe when I finish this year in high school (which is the last) I may be able to take a course or sth, because also I cannot read sheets yet!🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤

Jazer your video is quite old. I just wanna ask if you consider the number of polyphony when choosing digital piano. You havent discuss it.

I memorized La Campanella in 111 hours, but I can't read notes. I just took it one variation at a time and slowed it way down with the Slowdowner app.

Hey Jazer any tips on playing in F sharp major? I’m having trouble and always have slips when playing so many black keys and chords no matter how much or slow I’m practicing. Any advice would be great

My main thing is I will read the note, then my hands disconnect from my brain and go 'oh hey, remember how we just played a song in G major? Yeah, that F natural in this C major song is now gonna be sharped.'
