You have any idea how to get rid of the stomach feeling when riding roller coasters?
@XtremeCoasters3 күн бұрын
@neymarjsantos The only way is to ride them lots to get used to them. It used to happen to us all the time, but don't really get it at all anymore. We started off on a Schwarzkopf Looping Star model, it was one evening when the park was empty, by the 10-15th ride, the stomach feeling was gone. After not riding coasters for 6 months over the winter season, it will occasionally return for the first 1 or 2 rides if we're starting off the season with a real big coaster, but it's only very slight, not like it used to be 🙂
@neymarjsantos2 күн бұрын
@ I recently came across an advice I’m not sure if this works. But to simply reduce the stomach sensation all you have to do is engage your core muscles around the abs area almost like you straining yourself in a toilet seat. And you can feel the pressure on the abs together might also make the abs visible. But i have no idea if this works.

I rode Revolution for the 1st time in October of 1978, right after I graduated from Marine Corps Bootcamp. Back then The Coaster had a 5 Train Operation, and there were NO LAME TRIM BRAKES before The Loop and after The Tunnel. The speed going into and out of The Final Helix was Absolutely Awesome. Unfortunately Revolution is just a Shell from what it used to be. BTW, That's why The Transfer Track Train Storage Area is so large because of The 5 Train Operation it once had.
@XtremeCoasters6 күн бұрын
Wow, that must have been awesome. It rides better now than it did 10 years ago. The trims used to bring the train to a standstill before the loop. The added OSRs were also terrible, glad to see they're now gone and it's back to the original lap bar restraint.
@ellexking91366 күн бұрын
@@XtremeCoasters I don't know why the park added those awful OTSR'S in 1992. Some stupid rumor that it was a California State Law. If that was the case, then why didn't The Train on Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's get OTSR'S? The only thing that were added to The Train was Seatbelts. But it's funny after the premiere of Twisted Colossus in 2015, and Revolution closed for a renovation, Then reopening in 2016, The OTSR'S all of the sudden disappeared especially when TC Inverter riders 2X. So much for that So-Called State Law!!🤣 But I'm thankful that Revolution is still in operation to this day. I just remember how it used to be. Also, The best version of The Colossus I rode was when The Coaster operated with The Single Buzzer Lap Bar PTC Trains, AKA Screemy Meemy Version in National Lampoon's Vacation. You know how much Coaster Enthusiasts are Always Praising about The Trains with The Single Buzzer Lap Bars? Well let me tell you. Riding Colossus with those Trains was Pure Airtime Nirvana!! I'll be honest with you, I'm not a fan of Twisted Colossucks. I rode Colossus also in 1978, and during the time when The Park added Those Devilish Fiberglass Morgan Trains, and covered the double down with that Lame Block Brake. The park should have worked hard to preserve The PTC Train version.🎢🎢🖤❤️
@XtremeCoasters6 күн бұрын
@ellexking9136 The first time we rode Colossus was in 2006. It had already been totally butchered by that point and was pretty underwhelming. Which is a shame, as both Colossus and Revolution were both coasters we wanted to ride since being kids, thanks in part to National Lampoon's and the Rollercoaster Movie. While Twisted Colossus is the weakest of all the RMC coasters we've ridden, it's better than the state Colossus was in when we rode. It was trimmed so badly that it barely made it through the turnaround sections.

We've really come a long way in roller coaster design since then. Seems like you get a little break between every element here compared to modern coasters' relentless pace. Super cool they've kept this running for so long
