@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon It was better than we were expecting. This is the slower family coaster side called "Hunan". The other track is called Cylon. That's an inverted coaster with 5 inversions. Both coasters are typically duelling, but the timing was a bit off when we filmed this POV. When we upload the Cylon POV, you'll see the two coasters racing each other.

Glad to see this ride have a happy ending. This ride with its original 4 seat per row configuration apparently was uncomfortable and less smooth than it is now, and definitely more problematic since it was closed for so many years. Ever since the removal of the two middle seats 9 years ago this ride has pretty much been running well!

We've heard it runs a fair bit slower than in its original 4 seat configuration, but it's worth it for a smoother ride and better reliability.

But oh well, what’s most important is the safety of the ride 👍Apparently while the 4 seaters were still in action, the human vehicle would lose speed dramatically at the helix above the big Battlestar Galactica sign before the dive next to the Accelerator. I’ve only ever been on the ride after the seats were removed, so I’m not too sure. Great video! Hope to see the Cylon POV soon!

@shanaung-thwin9824 Thank you 🙂 It was one of the ride operators that advised it's not as fast as it used to be. Will have to check out some old videos to see if there is any difference. The Cylon POV hasn't been edited yet, but we'll get it done and upload at some point.

@SANITIZEDINC It was fun, though. A bit more speed would have been nice, but the inverted Cylon side was for the thrill seekers, this was for all the family. We'll get the Cylon POV uploaded at a later date.

I rode this thing in 2012 before it closed for a couple of years due to major problems and then rode it again recently. I prefer the first time. It's not as impactful as before.

@gissneric The trains got changed from 4 seats across to 2 seats, so guess the much lighter trains aren't as fast as the original trains.

@gissneric The Human side wasn't too bad, as they were running it with 2 trains when we visited. The Cylon side was, however, only running with 1 train, so that was painfully slow. The line went up to 180 minutes at one point, and it wasn't even that long.

It's not going to make any top 10 lists for us, but for the audience it's aimed at, it's a good coaster. It's definitely one of the better family coasters we've ridden.
