The name comes from its past "funky" appearance, when it was still mostly an industrial/commercial area. Now it has evolved into the wine / beer tasting and entertainment area of Santa Barbara 😊

I went to monosito Union. I looked at my grandparents house on 570 old Bosco road. I absolutely loved living there. And it really is not very quaint and very God. Fearing community, it really just is anyone who knows about Santa. Barbara should know that Santa Barbara holds the 2 towers in their mission. There are the only ones that have 2 towers in their mission. It's called the sad Barbara mission and it's ridiculously awesome. So if you're ever in Santa Barbara oriental shido know that there's a beautpaul Catholic monument very close to you.Please feel free to go there and love them cause they're awesome.Thank you

I have a now retired Aunt who taught at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Montecito. I went there for midnight mass at Christmas time.

This is a joke veeeeerrrryyy expensive . Very crowded for shopping ive lived in calif all my life and just sold my house and moving out of calif average home runs in millions and crowded. Beaches are not good swimming and surfing

I hope you found a great place to move to and selling your house was a happy and positive experience. In relation to prices in Santa Barbara, Goleta is less expensive. Our area is priced higher, since the demand is there. I‘m sure you noticed it when you were selling 😊

We lived in Carpinteria for several years and we loved being there. We also were in Goleta for 28 years and I was a nurse at Goleta Valley Hospital.

It is certainly pricey. Some of Santa Barbara‘s neighbors like Goleta, Carpinteria or Santa Ynez Valley might be considerable alternatives 😊
