Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force, Maverick has also had issues and are expensive to operate but they won’t touch those at all. I’m really scared Cedar Fair is going to totally ruin the entire hobby for me.

I think it’ll get converted like top thrill 2 there is more evidence leaning towards that. There are three markers behind the launch track that is a triangle formation which is how the spike would be made. Also as far as money goes it would cost way more to remove the ride and build something else rather than converting it. Especially because they would have to build something that could live up to kingda ka which would cost a ton. I think it’ll get converted

If Kingda Ka closes without so much as a word from them I'm never going back to Great Adventure. It's a 6 hour drive from where I live, and I've always wanted to go back since I went the first time in 2019. Toro and Nitro are cool and all, but the main reason I wanted to go back was always Ka. It has always been (and now will always be) my favorite rollercoaster, and the one time I went I was only able to go on it once because my brother didn't want to go on it again. The least they can do is leave the top hat standing. That being said I would still spend a ludicrous amount of money for a brake fin, or even a bolt, if they tear it down. I'm sure many enthusiasts would kill to own a part of Ka if they couldn't ever ride it again.

@@filmbricks-stopmotion That is an extremely dangerous thing for an operator to do and that can get the operator in a crap ton of trouble or even fired. IT can still be closed. Originally, rumors pointed to 2025, but then it switched suddenly to this year. Obviously, it seems to be a tussle from higher ups. IMO coaster influencer should be doing more to whip up the community to annoy the chain into at least delaying the closing back to its original end date in 2025. Minds have been changed last minute before. Hoping that eventually when they do address they will be doing so on making 2025 the last season rather than cheeping out right now because I assure you many will be flocking if they got an official heads up. Not everyone lives in the tri-state area nor has the means to book last minute trips

I get that Orion and Millie are both gigas, but I don't think they should really be compared. They had different goals when being built. Cedar Fairs wanted a ride that was tall fast, and they wanted the ride to maintain it's speed for the most part, that's why it has no mid brake run. Orion has all the tricks, and air time but it slows the ride a lot.

I hope they invest heavily in cedar point making taking back the coaster record making cedar point and ohio as a whole as the roller coaster capital of the world. If they ever build a coaster to to rival falcons flight it should go arround the entire park. Also cedar point can add land to the edge of the park to build the station. They could make it interact with other coaster. Run it through the structure of steel vengeance ect.

To me, this is too much of a ride for Valleyfair, Darien Lake, or Michigan's Adventure, but probably not enough of a ride for Cedar Point, KI, Knotts, SFGAdv, SFGADM, SFMM, etc. It probably belongs at a mid tier park. I think they're doing this as an insurance policy so CP has something new to offer next year in the event that TT2 never reopens or even take much longer to get open than they have hinted at.

Thank you for the video. Overall I completely agree with all the points. Interesting on the infrastructure at Valleyfair as I was not aware of. In terms of Darien Lake, this park has so many questions marks, it will be interesting to see what happens with this property (given that the company doesn't own it, they manage it). My biggest question with DL is will the owning company provide a big enough budget to even allow the company to bring the park up to their standards. Time will tell. I can say on my last visit (2nd week in AUG this year) the park was in pretty rough shape given just how it used to look 10 years ago (just my thoughts).
@fredericklockard3854Ай бұрын
It’s beyond ridiculous at this point. They need to fix some of their older coasters instead of just adding a new one seemingly every year. Many of their older ones are simply too rough to enjoy any longer. Kings Island needs a new coaster much more than yet another one at CP. CP also needs to really work on and put money into its water park as it’s the worst we’ve ever been at. CP is like the rich kid in high school whose parents give him a new car every year whole the other students get used Toyotas.

I'm hugely in the Give MA something camp, but i don't think a first-in-north-america type of ride is what anyone in corporate would add there. Got an extra B&M or other common model, sure (comments aside of how a b&m for MA was cancelled) but not this specific ride.
@StationWaitАй бұрын
A couple years ago I had predicted that MA would get some sort of prototype ride as a test for a larger park so they wouldn’t have a potential major failure at a high profile park. This would have been perfect for that, but alas I was wrong

@@mdomnis the hotels were filled this year and last year. Last year without TT2 they had record attendance. Also, sit down and do the math on that one. 20 million isn't unreasonable for a coaster... you think they're gonna make that back on hotel stays and in park spending to break even? Keep in mind coaster cost is usually only for steel, trains, controls. Install, concrete, everything else is added cost. A 20 million dollar coaster might cost an additional 5-10 mil to put in.
