Why are we rollercoaster freaks such a strange breed? Every video i watch has less than a thousand likes, and the channels at most 200k subscribers… ahhh are we just freaks?

I think with the Air Launch model still being the most powerful launch in the industry, the 4D coaster not having anything that comes close to competing with it, and the Axis basically revolutionizing what a roller coaster can, S&S has the biggest potential to really change the coaster industry. Interestingly, Vekoma seems to be the company that is most on the rise that makes "regular" rides (compared to S&S), and they are owned by the same company, Sansei Technologies.

SUcks about WIldcat... I think it would have been great for CGI to re-track their first coaster instead Hershey went with RUin My coaster corporation to completely gut it and IMHO destroy it. I have tried TT on Boulder Dash it really helped the roughness of the drop, and right now with Lightning rod being switched to over 50% IBOX RCDB has reclassified it as a Hybrid. So far I like Titan Track because it allows me to still ride coaster I enjoyed, RMC coasters do not accommodate has puffier people and untilt hey do I have no love for any coaster company that excludes people based on size. I am not asking them to accomodate 600lb people, but us 6'2" 300lb people can't enjoy an RMC... Boooooooooooooooooooooo

I love your content and I love how Tony and you have a great energy. I've watched this interview quite a few times. Do you think you'll be interviewing Tony again any time soon? I thought it was really cool to hear a podcast style interview about Dorney and getting Tony on just to learn about him a little more would be so cool. I know that's probably one of the tougher things to pull off, and maybe it is a goal for you guys at some point. I know there is so much, even about past projects, that he can't really say, but one thing that has stood out to me is how well he handles the difficult questions, so it would be cool to hear him talk about the industry as a whole, coasters as a whole, etc. I'd love to know what his favorite non- cedar point coaster is, his bucket list park, is anything too extreme for him, if he'd like to do anything after his current position. The big question I have is how much he interacts with other people who share his position at other parks and how the theming at one park can be tied into another. Does his influence and opinion extend beyond cedar point PR?

I like how you mention the vertical launch as many people forgot about its existence. However, I don' think the energy needed would be too far off from a regular LSM launch. The vertical launch doesn't have to be lightning fast, so it could save some juice by only carrying you up at say 55 m.p.h. Going straight up at that speed would still be exhilarating. However, I think ascending a 500' top hat in this manner would allow an easy height record breaker and gravity would do all the work getting you over the original top hat. It would also allow you to be a full circuit so CP can claim such records.

It's a new crowd favorite because before it was not something that everyone got on Dragster. Just something that everyone wanted. So, now it's going to be the favorite part of the new ride because everyone will finally get that.... Although, I'm curious how high up the tower that initial launch is going go.

74 MPH first launch? Thats just Maverick... weak...
@frizly2810 ай бұрын
i can’t say for sure as i haven’t been to america but based on the overwhelming amount of acclaim for maverick along with my own experience with similar rides, i’m just going to say this are you fr saying that maverick’s second launch is weak? 119 km/h for a first launch on a triple launch coaster is mental, that’s faster then most hyper-coasters and you’re calling something that hasn’t been built yet weak? triple launch coasters aren’t supposed to be a gut puncher on its first take off considering this is most likely going to be at a dead stop beforehand, a 0-119 km/h in what i’m guessing is around 3-4 seconds isn’t what’d you call weak, at least let the damn thing get built before determining if it’ll be “weak”
@TheRoflRS10 ай бұрын
@@frizly28 Mavericks launch is over about half the distance of track, so the new TTD launch will feel half as strong if you get up to the same speed in twice the space
@frizly2810 ай бұрын
@@TheRoflRS i do agree that it won’t have the same punch as either the old TTD or maverick but it hasn’t even been built yet so let it finish construction before settling on an opinion, i’ve been on a mack swing launch and it’s first take off is one of my favourite parts of the ride despite being something that would be classified as “weak”, try before you deny
