One of my favorite old Larkin Poe songs. I need another head - just for constant listening to good music from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Montains (And another one for music from Monterrey). Julie, thanks for saving these videos from sinking into oblivion.

You've done it again Julie. A daily dose of Larkin Poe is far better than any medications for brightening my day.

When I hear this song, it's hard to believe that there is such cruelty in the world. 🤔

I wish they had played this song live for us when I saw them at the Monterey Jazz Festival. It would have gone so well with Carmel by the Sea. Now it's lost in time.

What a performance. One of my favourites from the early Poe years. Still disappointing they removed this track from the Reskinned version of Kin.

Awesome, feels like something the Allman Brothers jammed & lost that LP summoned & reincarnated in a midnight séance under a Georgia blood moon!

Thanks, but you don't need to remind me of just how good these young ladies were/are. I know that by now. But, it's always great to see something that I wasn't aware of before.

@JulieMeyers2 күн бұрын
Good question. Not Mike Seal. I forget his name. I will post it here tomorrow, when hopefully I will have electricity again. I only remember hearing Rebecca saiy in an interview that she fired him because she thought she could do better. So true.

Rebecca & Megan don't seem to recognize how good their early music is, but they also appear to be starting to come around to just how good it is. Sometimes I wish they'd play music like this again. Maybe they will someday.
