It's a pleasure to hear Rebecca's voice in a softer mode than I'm used to, and the effortless (at least in appearance) way that Megan is able to join in after a while is a testament to not only their skills as singers and musicians, but also how long and how closely the two of them have worked together. This was a treat!

This song should be named "If I had a flower". It is a beautiful song for mother's day and a wonderful lovesong to Mrs. Lovell who gave birth to such incredible heart melting daughters. Julie, thank you for picking up all these neglected snippets.

It's obviously about their mother but it's also an inclusive love song to a special someone. I prefer Rebecca's title. Or it could just be Flowers. Thank you Julie.

Lovely tune. Go with how other people remember it. Impressionism got it's name from one painting that people remembered.

"If I had a flower" is a perfectly good title. "The Garden Song" is iconic. Personal opinions: It seems odd to put together the candle and the flower metaphors - should it be growth metaphors throughout? I was expecting it to be "'til the end of time" rather than forever.

Hey, out of curiosity. Any chace you have Trance from this live? 👀 I've only seen a recording of this episode with very bad audio 😕

I don't think they ever played Trance on LPTV. I didn't know of any other recordings of this performance. I really need to organize and edit all of it.

hahahaha, all good, just asking in case you had it 😀 There's this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ_JgZJ9pch5i6cfeature=shared Trance is somewhere around minute 12, but the audio here isn't the best, and since yours for this song is better I had to ask haha

David Mallet titled one of his songs "the garden song 1970s s.. long time ago...i sing it at farmers markets... vendors like it. does not resemble your tune.
