Vahtang is *so* good tho! Never mind the fact that he is a #BassMeister in the world of beatbox, I could listen to him singing some heartfelt bluesy gospel tunes all day long. His recent solo (& YA NA HA) work feels like he's matured into his own thing, & it's super musical & cool as fcuk!! Hopefully there is more to come from him & YA NA HA - I need there to be more than just one track from each on Spotify for me to stream! :)

He uses reverb but that’s all. He does this live all the time and it sounds exactly the same except the reverb echo

Taras is indeed a 3x Russian beatbox champion (RBC -2013, 2018 and V1 Battle 2022) He does Same in his live streams without any of the audio editing - the raw audio is not much different than what you hear in his studio videos in terms of the crazy amount of beatbox skill he has. Many of the sounds that are mistaken for effects he actually does with his own voice and beatbox. He has described his minimal use of postproduction effects as putting the soul back into his music as some of it gets lost in the analog-digital conversion. And of course, the dynamics of hearing it in person can't be replicated perfectly in a recording. He has many incredible videos; please continue to enjoy this phenomenal talent. alright, I'll tell you all i know about the process of making it through GBB, first You're allowed to make a wildcard beatbox video of a maximum 2 minutes, I think (most of beatboxer use their wildcard for elims *if qualified), after that judges will choose and rank their wildcards until top 10 and usually it was a total of 16 participants for Solo category, this year, 10 from wildcard (Osis,Pacmax,Steady,Den,Helium,Momimaru, Abo Ice, oh sorry i forgot the rest) and 6 other was from winning a certain competition that has a gbb ticket for the prize, (Maxo (Florida bbx champ), Remix (africa mena champ, ) Bly Crepsley (Beat city japan champ), etc. , alright i was tired of typing,😂

Most top-tier beatboxers stop there. Taras is using his bbx skills to create his own new art form. Everything you hear is produced by his throat/mouth.... then on top of a beautifully musical -bbx set- reworking of the original track, he also makes excellent, musical, choices regarding when to apply reverbs, delays, etc to best effect. The entire thing is #ChefsKiss imho. I'm bored with bbx "purists" dismissing his work. Those "purists" can stay doing whatever they're doing, while many of us in the rest of the world are quite prepared to spend *actual money* on purchasing / streaming Taras' *music* ;) p.s. the tracks he comes up with alongside his other fellow Russians in YA NA HA are #Tremendous - check out "Get Up" sometime: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmGamK2fhJVnn8k I'm glad to say they have set up streaming thru Spotify for their stuff, & I hope there is more to come soon. :)
