Taras is indeed a 3x Russian beatbox champion (RBC -2013, 2018 and V1 Battle 2022) He does Same in his live streams without any of the audio editing - the raw audio is not much different than what you hear in his studio videos in terms of the crazy amount of beatbox skill he has. Many of the sounds that are mistaken for effects he actually does with his own voice and beatbox. He has described his minimal use of postproduction effects as putting the soul back into his music as some of it gets lost in the analog-digital conversion. And of course, the dynamics of hearing it in person can't be replicated perfectly in a recording. He has many incredible videos; please continue to enjoy this phenomenal talent. He uses reverb but that’s all. He does this live all the time and it sounds exactly the same except the reverb echo

Most top-tier beatboxers stop there. Taras is using his bbx skills to create his own new art form. Everything you hear is produced by his throat/mouth.... then on top of a beautifully musical -bbx set- reworking of the original track, he also makes excellent, musical, choices regarding when to apply reverbs, delays, etc to best effect. The entire thing is #ChefsKiss imho. I'm bored with bbx "purists" dismissing his work. Those "purists" can stay doing whatever they're doing, while many of us in the rest of the world are quite prepared to spend *actual money* on purchasing / streaming Taras' *music* ;) p.s. the tracks he comes up with alongside his other fellow Russians in YA NA HA are #Tremendous - check out "Get Up" sometime: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmGamK2fhJVnn8k I'm glad to say they have set up streaming thru Spotify for their stuff, & I hope there is more to come soon. :)
