Two things, first, your only 34. You cannot be feeling older yet. Give it another ten years, then allow yourself to feel a bit older. Secondly, we go through these two trends every few years, everyone loved neutrals, then everyone loved colors, now everyone loves neutrals again. The only difference is for some reason when we are in the neutral phase, Influencers seem to get rid of all their colorful palettes. Until a few more years pass and then it’s back to buying colorful eyeshadow’s again. Thirdly, where and how often is everyone traveling that they need to save so many palettes to do so? One or 2 I understand but some Influencers save like 10 palettes for traveling. Someone tell me, where is everyone going so many times a year? 😂. Thanks for sharing your collection and declutter with us. 😊

@@purpleivy9174 neutral palettes have always been my number 1. Always!!!! Being boring with my makeup is the most honest version of myself. But, as a working, divorced mum to a toddler and a pup…. Im not pulling out my color palettes to do a cut crease. I don’t party. I feel tired. My skin has changed since I turned 32. I see it in the skincare items that work for me now and the base makeup. It’s not the same anymore. My old products don’t wear the way the used to. And especially filming and putting myself on camera I notice it in High Definition! 😩 I could have easily decluttered more, but palettes can be a sentimental thing! I’m a hobbyist and makeup lover first and foremost! Influencer…. I dunno I’m still a micro channel but I would consider it a part time gig hahaha. I love having choices still and trying new formulas. As long as you don’t bankrupt yourself, it’s ok if you want a large collection or a small one. I’d rather have 100 neutral palettes than 20 colorful ones. But having the freedom to choose is what’s most important. And maybe it’s the case that when colorful palettes are trending, the market and customers follow?! But that’s ok. My makeup collection grows and downsizes depending on my preferences. My collection often reflects me as a person. After my divorce I stopped wearing makeup. My hair kept falling out. So skincare and hair care are currently important to me. I barely use my palettes and that makes me sad. I rather see them go to makeup lovers that will use them and adore them. I’m happy people like my declutter though! I think it won’t be my last palette declutter for 2024. I know it can be upsetting to see the palettes go. But I truly believe they are going to makeup loving homes ❤️ better than collecting dust in my drawer.

I also thought Bottle green doesn't look too green, more grey - it's a bit annoying as I bought it 😂 Along with Pecan and the bronze and cinnamon kajal eyeliners when they were offering free bronze ones with purchase. Hopefully I can still make it work for my brown eyes

The green isn't my favorite but I think they put in the grey to make it more wearable. But it's a common problem I think with greens.

Usually love your reviews. Unfortunately, the lighting here has a very yellow cast and the ysl on your right cheek we can barely see the color, which is sad, because the review should focus on the ysl not RB which we already have. Looking forward to a more in depth review of the ysl if you're planning on getting other shades. 🥂❤️

I am waiting for the contour to come to Douglas or Ici Paris so I can get it on sale, don't want to pay full price for it. I am definitely gonna go for the next shade up though, this is SO gray!!

Great review. I totally want to try this foundation but I have so...many....foundations. I'd have to actually use something up. Probably the Westman Atelier stick foundation. I really am craving a full face of Dior for some reason. I've been loving the two eyeshadow palettes I have, and I have that same blush that you tried today. I didn't pick up any of the recent palettes...waiting for something unique! Anyway, thanks as always Sonia.

Ugh I know that feeling of just having too much. I was going to repurchase my WA foundation. But I decided I will play with this one first. I like that this can be sheer like a Tint and a concealer like the WA. I also think I own enough to make a full face of dior and I totally agree. Dior has fun products, some really enjoyable! I'm the perfect customer for these products!

This is the first review I’ve seen of the new VB balms! They are much less pigmented than I expected. I think for the darkest shade that would work well for me! I’m going to give one a try the next time I place a VB order!

Soooo sheer! I seriously wonder how well they perform on deeper lip tones. But they do show up on mine and they're more flattering then expected. So I guess sheer.doenst necessarily mean bad. But I had to adjust myself as well. Lisa eldridge ones are more pigmented

Hi ! Thanks for the review, I have watching some about this new launch from CD since I am quite interested in 😉 In the face palette do you find that the highlighter is a little bit on the glittery side ( it is the main complain) ? And also do you think that the formula on the contour and foundation stick are the same ? If so maybe it could be interesting to just pick up a darker shade in the foundation stick to use as the contour/bronzer since the shade range is quite limited in the contour stick 🤔

Yeh I find the formulas very similar. Acted the same as well. The contour swatch was harder to come off though so I do think it will be higher in pigment. The highlighter was not glittery at all. Seriously the type of highlighter I enjoy. I love this launch as well btw. I'm impressed with the Forever line in general

Loved this review! Great timing as I just ordered the foundation stick - looks like I might be a good replacement for my beloved but discontinuedddd Tom Ford. The whole look is great on you - you really suit the no-makeup makeup!

The older I get, the less makeup I wear. I tried my 20s routine not so long ago and the makeup just wasn't.... it just looked so bad. I love light coverage nowadays. I still love makeup but definitely a different relationship now! I hope you love this one as well

Love Victoria Beckham beauty, but I was shocked when I saw the packaging, seems very flimsy compared to her other lipsticks, tint, and glosses? Also, hate you can't retract the balm down & quite pricey for the amount given its a balm. I will still probably try at some point as I am a sucker for a purple undertone like Cassis, especially for the fall/winter. Thanks for reviewing!

Nooo packaging is heavy and not flimsy. It's the same material as her vast lash mascara, her brow gel. It's heavy! Especially coz I was used to the plastic by Mac or MBM. I do agree... I don't like the ones that you can't retract down. This formula seems quite stiff so I am not sure if it is necessary. It's also pricey per gram indeed. I let it slide coz I know that's VBB in a nutshell. Pricey but often good!

You said it was thinner than the YSL Candy Glaze? Is it not as moisturizing as those? Which do you prefer?

Yes thinner in texture. Candy glaze is a bit thicker. But it's too soon to tell a favorite. Candy glaze I have been using for weeks. The VBB I own for 1 day. So it needs to go into my collection and battle against all my other products. I do really like how lightweight it is vs the Hydration. I like the price per gram a little less 🤣

I think I am over VBB! I am still bitter about my lip glosses going rancid in 6 months. These look kind of cheap, especially for the price … and hardly groundbreaking. My lips are pale, so lack of pigment? Not for me. Haven’t liked anything since the seafoam kajal. (And they started their rewards program AFTER I spent a fortune!)

Totally fair! It's not a lot especially if you do want that wash of color. But formula wise. I'm not mad! I have the same issue with the golden primer and the contour sticks... I hate recommending something that expensive for so little, but I like the product. Nothing new though! Save your coin!
