Yay, I'm so happy you got this! I made the mistake of ordering Nude 2 instead of Nude 1. The 2 is too brown on my light complexion, even leaning orange in certain light. So now I need to order the Nude 1 in refill. It will be great if the color is anything like the Doux pencil.

Yeh nude 2 is definitely best for medium complexion. I also have a darker lip color naturally. It fits my face but it can look odd if the color is too light on my lips. A darker shade is often more flattering on me. Nude 2 does pull a bit brown. I am happy they came out with refills right away. Unlike WA that made you wait 100 years before introducing the refills

@@sonia.butler I know! WA is beyond frustrating with stalling on the refills of EVERYTHING. I also got the brush from Fara Homidi; it is very nice. I have never owned a lip brush, so I'm not the most reliable critic, but it is nice. I also got a Red 1 compact and, in hindsight, could have probably just gotten the red lip liner instead of the compact. Those are some expensive mistakes to make!

I got the red 1 for Christmas and I’m very impressed. It is so comfortable and definitely feels like luxury. I think I will try the pencils next! Do you have recommendations for lip brushes? Thanks and love the channel (esp being based in Europe!)!

Pencils are good! I am using them consistently. For lip brush that isnt insane in price i have used my MAC brush for a long time. They have a retractable one that i would recommend. I believe they also have a sale right now❤️❤️❤️

I sometimes like to review the lesser known brands. I make it a think that every year my first video or brand review is something new. From memory my first year I introduced la bouche rouge on my channel and the second year vieve beauty. These videos don’t garner a ton of views but it’s just a fun way to change things up and explore. especially lately I am very uninspired by the current launches. I am in a makeup rut! This probably will be my home for the next year or so. It’s a one bedroom but is large enough for me and my son ( and my dog ) but I am sadly not able to put up any filming equipment since my living room, dining space, kitchen, office and gym are already occupying the same space 🤣. I share a bedroom with my toddler but he likes it ! Currently filming on my phone will have to suffice haha. I am happy though to just be for a while. Establish a new routine!

Yeah I remember La Bouche Rouge! That’s the first time I heard of it when I watched your review as well. That brand is hard to find in Canada, but I was more than happy to hear about more less known good brands. It doesn’t matter whether the space is big or small, it is going to be a happy place for you , your son and the dog! I quite like the face that the living room, kitchen, office are all in one open space. That looks so cool! Even though you’re filming on your phone, the lighting and quality of the video is good, so, don’t you worry about it😊 Anyway, it’s always nice to see your reviews. You’re different, your videos are always more realistic, no artificial lightings, no fancy makeup skills, more like a girlfriend who is talking to her other girlfriends about makeups that she likes, that’s what I am here for 😊

@antonialu8958 thank you! I am happy. Small but happy space is the way to go! For my reviews i always wanted just that. Like if i had a friend in a makeup crisis what would i tell them? Often when i tell someone i have a YT channel they compare me to Nikki Tutorials coz thats the most famous beauty youtuber in the Netherlands. But i tell them....they couldnt be more off haahhaa. I am nothing like her! I review expensive products! And they're like.... why? 😆 . Most people don't get it. So this platform is a really fun way to explore, connect, be creative.

I still wear it but not consistently and it is holding up great. Its a matte product and i have been loving hydrating lip products ❤️❤️❤️ this formula duo is actually more comfortable if you ask me.

Ontzettend! Zeker voor een nieuw merk... echt ballen als je zo de markt binnen komt. Maar italiaanse en japanse suppliers dus kwaliteit is er wel. Denk dat ze de zelfde klanten trekken als VBB en Westman atelier. Of ieder geval proberen. Ook promoten ze essentials, dus is de bedoeling dat je dit "on the go" gebruikt. Eigenlijk alleen een eyeliner, mascara, concealer en dit ofzo zou moeten hebben. Maar inderdaad. De prijs is shocking!

Maybe? But it doenst smell the same and there is more drag with the WA formula and its a bit dry. Not the worst but doesnt feel the same. Although same velvet top. It could be that the primer helps the dryness and the smell. The palette component also is a little different. But overall same customer will enjoy both palettes i am sure.

I think in terms of occupying the luxury clean beauty space with refillable luxury compact lip palettes its a comparison i felt i needed to make! The prices are insane indeed. But for review its quite fun to do cos people appreciate the review. This formula... with the primer is less drying than WA. BUT.... I think that if WA is not your brand than this one might not be either. Great news for your wallett
