So much more goes into this…distant to a job, how far it is from an available bus stop, walking in the dark from bus stops, etc, length from said bus stop to destination…some cities have awful public transportation so the routes don’t go all over the city or county…

I don't have a car and I don't have a way to get places. Let's start there and that's what I was searching for anyways. When I live in an area with an inadequate bus system It was still tough to get places but at least I had the bus. But the bus system was unreliable. First of all It went slower than you would on a car and you just get in the car and you go from point A to point B. But the bus system had to make all these stops at bus stops slowing it down. What's worse My bus driver one day stopped off at a store to use the restroom and get a drink. So we just sat in the bus although I went out and walked around a little bit because when he came back in he was going to open it back up so I can go back in. I mean that's an unfortunate way to travel. I'm not even getting to the part where I now move to a town with no bus system. But my point here is even with a bus system It was a heartache and a headache. You have to be there on time and you have to know where you're going if you need to take another bus or how much you're going to be walking once you get to a certain point because it's not going to get to where you want to go If that's the case. So the bus system is inadequate although it may have improved slightly with more shifts and go in later in the day. But where I was at they didn't even do it on weekends. So it's not like I could joy ride on the weekend or I could go someplace on weekends. Mean right there is enough for a whole story about how inadequate the buses are But then I got ill and folks moved to small town and so here I am In a small town although folks live in a ranch. Bottom line now there's no bus system. I don't know anything about the poster here that posted this video 6 years ago. But I can say that her issues and mine are not the same and yet we're both without a car. Mine is not by will. And so I'm in a terrible position. She's living in La La Land. And I'm out here without a way to get places.

That happened to me. Hospital with excruciating pain. Pumped me with morphine, did scans...all "normal" and i was discharged...to this day I have yet to know whats wrong with me. Im going through the process now with a course of birthcontrol to stop my periods and "see if that works"

I want to add I do understand how sad and lonely It can be to drive a car. But it's also sad and lonely being by yourself and walking around all alone. That's why I got a dog so I have company.

I absolutely loved your video on packing for a long weekend in Philly as a minimalist. It's impressive how you managed to pack light while still being prepared for the potential snowstorm. Your tips and insights are incredibly helpful, especially for those of us who are looking to travel minimally during the holidays. Your minimalist approach is inspiring, and I appreciate you sharing your journey with us. Keep up the fantastic work, and I can't wait to see more from you! Sending you lots of love and support.

And that's my problem. I don't have a way to get places but at the same time I don't have to worry about the expenses and the car breaking down because now I have no place to go. If I have a place to go I have to bum a ride from folks in my family. This is not a way to live. That's why I was looking for a video for someone that was in my specific situation. So I could find out what I can do to get places and resources that I can use to get a ride.

Until De Beers started to advertise diamonds as THE wedding ring stone, most people had plain bands for their wedding ring, and coloured stones for the engagement ring. The idea of diamonds for weddings is pretty much entirely a modern fabrication, to keep up demand for the diamond cartel.

The cable company changed so that you had to rent a cable box. At that point, I gave up cable. I had an internal antenna and watched some TV that way. I also had a Roku but my wifi was unreliable. Then I got a metal roof and the antenna stopped working completely. At this point, I gave up watching TV completely. I unplugged the TV from the wall in the summer of 2017 and have not watched any TV at my home since then.

In my opinion, taking public transportation keeps your brain more active. I always felt like it was a trivia or a game to get to point B therefore my brain was always active earlier in the day and I was ready to face whatever that was in front of me.

Asalamalaykum. Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. There is. I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?

We moved into a house twice the size as our last house, it’s our dream home! This was 9 yrs ah and people are asking us when we are downsizing I guess because we are of that age 57 & 58. Well we are not downsizing! We are downsizing our items and have been decluttering a lot. I played the Minimalism game in February and I continue to declutter monthly. We love where we are and have no plans to move. Maybe if circumstances change then maybe but no plans to downsize our house anytime soon. Great video kudos darling!! 💜
