I don't like the granny square yarn for making granny squares. I've seen reviews on it and you have to keep your tension just so to get all the colors correct and the tension is different throughout the project just to get the colors right. Now if you want to make something else out of it thats perfect. I made a shawl out of two skeins and it looks great. I haven't tried the Mandala String. Seeing you go through it it looks sorta like Loops and Thread Facets. Would you say thats a fair comparison?
