I just picked up a 2016 550i with 70k miles, the car has no accidents and the carfax says regular oil changes and all the services were done at BMW. I believe the car was driven moderately hard tho because it has a few tire changes on the record. I was just trying to get your insight on whether I should keep the car or return it. I am moving to college and this is going to be my daily, I wont be driving too much but I'm hoping this will be reliable with regular maintenance. Please let me know if have had any issues with the car and how often and what you do for maintenance. This is a long comment but I would appreciate a reply. Thank you.

Hey man so there’s like two different types of resonators. I currently have both of those off and my mufflers off but left the flaps. About to put on some arm downpipes wasn’t sure if u had both sets of resonators on or just one I like the way you’re sounds. I also do have an x pipe already.

I fitted the s63 exhaust manifold on my 550ix, haven’t started the car yet, but can’t wait to here it.

Yes, the cross bank exhaust manifolds from the s63. Sounds way better to me, turbos spools faster, can get rid off the heat way better and the manifolds don’t give so much back pressure.

The e70 x5m and x6m has also the s63 engine and the manifolds they are using are a bit different but also cross banked and uses 1 msd85 dme ecu. So the readings have to be possible to adjust.

Nice work. Have done this process myself a couple of times now. Also on my 550ix. There are also a few U shaped “nails” in the housing holding the lens. I found the worse thing about the job is to pull, cut and what not, to get the freaking old sealant out. I use Sikaflex 256 sealant filled up the entire gap of the housing and pushed it with an ice cream stick to make it even and get out all the air gaps. This will prevent leaks. And as a tip. Never touch your new lens on the inside!

I have a 1992 have had it since 1993. I’m still in love. Scrubbed the wheels and tires today. I need a paint man. Every time I leave it with a mechanic I get two things a bill and something else wrong. My paint faded because they left it under a tree leaves and rain took off the clear coat. These last people messed up the driver door handle and charged me way too much.
