Big Turbo 550! | FrankenTurbo/Shuenk N63TU Upgraded Turbos | Exhaust Sounds + Launches

I had the opportunity to get one of FrankenTurbo's brand new N63TU turbos that they've been developing. They've recently hit the market, and I'm very impressed on how these are performing so far! A lot of people have asked about the exhaust note, so I decided to make a video of it and included some launches. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!

Coming from the n54 platform love your vids I just want to make sure I’m not taking on another headache the n54 even tho it makes crazy power is a damn headache going thru all that I would hate to go through another break something every other day experience so I’m thinking about a 2014 and up were there revised a lot of things

What year is your car again cause in 2016 bmw gave us twin scroll twin turbo fyi and how much boost you pushing now with those turbos? Was that a charge pipe i seen included in the turbo kit?

That car have a dedicated frontal mounted oil cooler or just the small oem block style heat exchanger? What about the trans cooler- any bar/plate style frontal positioned cooler?

Was the car able to run just fine with the upgraded turbos( af ratios, knock sensors, timing) or did you have to tune it right away to adjust?

Car will definitely need sofware adjusting. Just by mounting big turbos without a giving it more fuell etc. will end up badly.

Got this one off of eBay lol. Had a small fitment issue, but a small modification made it fit better.

Have you not done any engine work for the upgraded turbos? I dont know the limits of the N63 but I am considering getting one

My tuner says that 650-700WHP is the upper limit without any bottom end work.

I’m currently running stage 2 tune by DUDMD, pushes about 22lbs of boost. Would I get any extra power with these turbos without re tuning the car?

Any reason to avoid putting in the crossbank manifolds from the s63tu series? I'm about to upgrade the turbos and swap in the M manifolds. Helps will exhaust flow, especially high rpm which should help to reduce strain on the motor.

Suggestions: Intakes and downpipes. Upgrade 1-step step colder spark plugs. Fresh ignition coils. Upgrade to the 85C low temp thermostat. Sport oil cooler valve. If you got $3k laying around, grab some upgraded intercoolers.

@@blu3skyy249 I have a 2014 n63tu it def heats up even with stock turbos but as long as you relocate the intakes to the front grill and get better intercoolers your fine

These are basically manufactured to almost the same spec as the S63 turbos. And These cars have well made charge coolers for each turbo they don’t overheat like your speculating 😂 🤦🏻‍♂️
