I've been all over this area on both a Harley and in a Jeep. You never know what's around the next turn unless you really know it well, and that's the fun of it. I've retired in north central AR and still get down to these parts on occasion, but I've never been to Bud's Cabin. It's nice they let you go inside and have a look around. The Oark Cafe is good eats and interesting inside. Really like the Jasper and Ponca area too. Thanks for taking us for the ride!

One more thing... I advise you DO use them everyday unless y'all are super-rough on things. You've made a big investment so why not enjoy it daily? That's what it's for. My old USA-made 18/8 flatware has been used DAILY and washed in the dishwasher for several decades and it's still as beautiful as ever and will outlast me. Yours should be just as durable and it has a 25-year warranty. It's made to be used. (If you don't use it, when you've passed on someone else just will, or they'll donate it. LOL. Use that excellent flatware! (Little daily pleasures mean a lot, seriously.) And who gives their wife presents and then says, "But don't use or enjoy them!"? Don't be "that guy." LOL
@abc-wv4in

I do admire Liberty for their commitment to USA-made, but except for their very plain patterns their patterns need work imo, and they are SO expensive. There are other high quality flatware options still available (many made in Vietnam), but you have to go on line, not in big box stores. I've ordered six Liberty samples, but I wish they had a few patterns similar to the lightly accented fluted style of R&B's Country French and Oneida's Marquette. Liberty's prettiest patterns are all very plain and most of the others are too decorated all over the handles. The few that are in between just aren't elegant imo. Maybe I'm too picky but for that price I need to like everything about it! I am looking forward to receiving my samples; maybe they'll grab my eye!
@abc-wv4in
@abc-wv4in Ай бұрын
Very helpful review; thanks! (Subscribed) I ordered six sample pieces yesterday, but none of their patterns are really the style I like although the quality seems superb. And VERY expensive. I'll probably need to stick with Oneida's top lines which are now made in Vietnam (not China) and seem to be comparable quality 18/10 to their old USA-made flatware of the same pattern. (I recently added some new pieces to my old USA made Oneida Marquette and don't notice any difference in the quality so far.) Of course I wish they were still made here, but they are more affordable and nice quality.
