Why do some idiots think they have the rite to tag everything in site? You can't read or understand anyway.

That log structure was part of an ore dump. Was rails going out from a mine tunnel to the end of it and dumped.

Yeah from Washington state with their summer and that region of Idaho and Montana is just one of the most beautiful pieces of countryside I've seen and I've traveled this entire nation

LOOKS LIKE A REALY COOL ADVENTURE . UNFORTIONLY IT WILL NOT BE STANDING MUCH LONGER . THERE IS SO MUCH HISTORY ON THE SMALL MINING TOWN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWSOMW TO LIVE BACK THEN . I HAVE AL WAYS LIKED TO SEE OLD STRUCTURES AND TO KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE PEOPLE THAT WERE THERE WHEN THINGS WERE BOOMING.

I know of a place similar to this in BC 🇨🇦. Not nearly as grand. Haven’t been able to access it for many years now. It had natural hot-springs coming out beside a small river. Some full of sulphur and not usable, but 3 small pools were good. If I had a man and the right vehicle, I’d try to access it again.

Check out The Cramer tunnel if you're ever in NE MN. Abandoned RR through the rock. Similar to this tunnel but shorter and a straight shot. I worked on that RR from 1991-2001.

I now live in Reno Nevada I used to live in Bozeman in the '80s and of course that stuff wasn't going on back then, and my dad and mom worked for the university but there's no work in Bozeman even for me I went back to school and said screw this wasn't working, and there's no industry except ranching farming tourism because you got Yellowstone Bozeman has nothing to offer except University and that's about it, it looks like it's still the same but now I see all of the apartments and all that other jazz they've bought up farmland and ranchland, and I follow a guy out of I think it's Great falls and he's a rancher and he's talking about what's going on with the ranching community it's not good none of it's good he's going down into Texas where a community is going to lose all their homes because Houston wants to flood their homeland, I couldn't believe what I was seeing His name is Trinity He has a KZbin and Instagram and Facebook page, and he talks about the stuff that's going on, there's a young man that I follow out of Wyoming and his family is been in that area for over a hundred years, and it's really sad to see what they did to Bozeman that's an historical community and I love Bozeman, but what they've done to it and allowing that to go on no, some people choose to do homeless stuff, cuz those RVs are not cheap, and I know that we have more tent cities here than we have RVs but some of those RVs are very expensive and I'm like going yeah you're choosing to live like that but you don't want to pay the rent in our space, and I can guarantee you they're not paying their monthly on a on all of that so they're staying hidden sad sad sad what's going on.

Oh my stars that's out of Montana whoa , Now that's crazy The reason I clicked on it I thought it was out of Colorado My grandfather was an engineer on the DNRG out of Durango, and then after Korea my dad became a fireman on the DNRG, And was let go because he had to lose an eye and because he was a fireman instead of making my dad an engineer they let him go it's like what so let's go burnt fingers on that one, but I saw this and I was intrigued and I went Montana over by Butte interesting . Now I know going into Golden that used to be a train that went up into Golden I don't think it's there anymore of course I mean the way they move product and everything else was by train and now of course it's different history is wonderful and how we have modified the way we move products and people❤

Can you imagine the work it took to build those tunnels and train tracks in 1912 and the supplies they had to have? A lot of concrete went into that tunnel I wonder where they got the water from to mix that much concrete. I haven’t seen a major water source. That took a lot of concrete to build a tunnel that long. Amazing feat!!!
