I saw Emoni play while he was at ECU, but Noah Farrakhan stood out as a player to me. Very athletic PG for West Virginia this upcoming season. Antonio Reeves is an older rookie but his offensive game is smooth to watch. When the jumper / floater are both working he seems very hard to stop. He played well at Illinois State his early college years! I'm hoping he goes to the floater often, it keeps the defensive bigs in a precarious position.

James. Most of the coaching and plays in China are not drills, most of the time it is single players trying to glory ball and ball hog it most of the time. I have been living ion China for ten years now and play ball and help coach. There are some great prospects coming out from here, and those who do learn about when to pass, share and work as a team I think could have a good future. There are two Chinese players this summer league I played with, and I think they might find a bench spot on a team this year, happy to see them get the call

Thank you for your efforts with scouting/video content!!! I would love to see individual players' gameplay in the background if that ever becomes possible during the breakdown. I had a surgery last month and this show + locked on Bulls / Hornets was a major highlight of my day while I was there. I'm excited to see Matas Buzelis in Summer League. When I first became aware of him a year or so ago he seemed like there was no way the Bulls would get a pick high enough for him. I'm hoping we can look at Hansen Yang / Cooper Flagg next year!

Castle has a chance at ROY with enough playing time. Ware to the Heat's the best thing for Ware. Yang's solid and underrated by some. Zikarsky and Maluach also in the same class could be crazy... This last draft class was known for their bigs, well Imo this years' class will have better everything, including bigs. I'd take all 3 bigs mentioned likely over even Sarr/Clingan/Edey, etc.

I don’t think Castle will see the floor enough to win ROY.
@norrinradd5423 күн бұрын
@@mikejones9906 Hard to say... I think he gets on the floor though, he'll back up Vassel some and Idk how much playing time CP3 gets. How much does he have left in the tank? He'll be a great teacher for Castle nonetheless and Castle will run the point probably when CP3 isn't on the court. He might not get enough minutes, but he just might. If he does, he's in the convo. His ability to make reads at point definitely help his case.
@mikejones99063 күн бұрын
@@norrinradd542Yea, they just picked up Harrison Barnes as well and Castle isn’t a point guard, he’s a combo guard and there’s just a log jam at that position. He did look good, confident looking jumper and it seems like he’s gotten way quicker. He’s in the same boat as Collier, they have all the physical tools, they just need the jumper to be consistent and sky is the limit.

Flagg reminds me of Bobby Jones of the old Nuggets / Sixers. He looks like a defenisve minded guy who has offensive hustle moments.
@RegDolla_8 күн бұрын
I’m not the only one who sees it lol. I like going back and watching older players I never watched before and I watched a couple videos on him and him and Cooper have similar measurements too. Everyone gives him AK47 comps but the Bobby Jones one is just as good. Bobby in his prime was getting 2 steals and 2 blocks which is ridiculous. It’s a high bar but Coop could potentially come close to that. Cooper has a higher offensive ceiling just off the fact that it’s a new era and he shoots the ball but we’ll see how good the shot and creation ability is this year at Duke. He also a good playmaker
@mikejones99068 күн бұрын
Flagg is in the PG13, Kawhi mold. Will be easily the most dominant player in college basketball
@RegDolla_8 күн бұрын
@@mikejones9906 don’t see the PG or Kawhi mold at all. Even on defense. Flagg is good on ball defender but he’s even better off ball and as a helper. On the offensive side he doesn’t have the handle of PG. He could operate as a point forward at Duke but his handle isn’t tight like that. The only thing I really see that’s similar to Kawhi is maybe the mid range pull up because he likes getting to that shot. If I had to give him a comp of a current day player it would probably be Jonathan Issac. He’s one of the most versatile defenders in the league. Flagg has a higher offensive upside because of the playmaking. His shooting and shot creation gonna be his swing skill if he reaches an All-NBA Level
@mikejones99068 күн бұрын
@@RegDolla_ Cooper has a legit handle, hesi and everything else. Low post, mid post, hi post. He can give it to you however you want it. There seems to be a false narrative floating around that Cooper can’t give you 30 or 40. He will average at least 20 at Duke and have a legendary season cutting down the nets.
@RegDolla_8 күн бұрын
@@mikejones9906 he can handle the ball for sure he’s just not elite which is fine. I’m a Duke fan. I’ve watched Coop play multiple times in person. He’s not averaging 20 at Duke this coming year and even if you think he can he doesn’t need to for us to win. There’s a lot of talent of this year squad for him to average 20. Also there’s better scoring prospects that came to Duke that didn’t average 20. Like Paolo, BI and Tatum all average around 17 a game. Cooper is not better scoring prospect than any of them nor is he on a roster that gonna need him to get 20 every night. He can average between 14-17 and still be the best prospect because of everything he does on the court.
