The fact that I know so many of those kids is crazy to me, especially the kid in the front at the beginning… I walk by him in the hallway everyday, nicest guy I’ve ever met.

It was a split decision with three judges putting Linn Marr in 1st and two judges putting Homewood in 1st. They sing well, they dance well, and that’s why they won. Not a 100% sure on this, but I believe that they won vocals unanimously and were 3-2 on choreography.

My varsity show choir won a nationals with all the awards, but it wasn’t ranked right next to linn mar. They never competed in the same competition. Look up Johnston innovation

It’s not as much as you might think. Most of the really flashy stuff is rented. We do tons of fund raising events throughout the year to help ease the costs. A lot of students will actually pay for their own expenses (i.e. without help from parents).

Do they ever compete???? I don't think they could touch very many of the groups I saw this year on the Iowa circuit. If 10th Street Edition was a 10, Attache would be a 6??? maybe a 5.

This is my favorite show choir I have seen on KZbin. Their choreography is not only extremely fun and visually interesting, but demonstrates an incredible level of skill. Their vocals match their dancing abilities, it is just spectacular. I cannot believe that high schoolers have put on a show this good. It makes me smile seeing all of these performers pouring their hearts into their act. I hope to see more wonderful things like this from the North Central Counterpoints.

It is a lovely show!! it is about a town whose water is supplied by a (magical?) river, but it is running out. then, this “ice queen” (soloist) gives up her voice to save the town and give them more water.
