I'm trying to watch this to fix my nephew's toy gun and I'll be honest, not all that helpful for me. I needed to know how to attach the front of the gun - you did it off frame. Then I needed to know how exactly I need to fit the spring on the little square widget towards the back, but you hid it behind your hands and mumbled "the spring.... Mhmm thurrr..."

If you have a vice you can hold it in that. Just be careful don't tighten it too hard around the tube or it can break. If you don't have access to that you can use a screwdriver and hammer and put the screwdriver in the tube and hammer it down thereby breaking the AR assembly

Now its been 3 years but I do wanna ask how exactly the process went with connecting the battery pack with the tray. Did you have to cut any wires?

At 1:30 he tells you. He has some new connectors he added. It's that big red hunk of plastic in the middle of the cord. He just disconnects them hooks them up to a charger and reconnects them when it's done charging. It's worth noting based on previous comments he uses a different charger than the one included, but all you really need to do is come up with your own system for connecting the ends.

I think this is a great replacement! Just curious about longevity. Still working strong? About to do this and I already have a hobby battery charger so seems like a good idea over D cell batteries.

If you didn't already buy the rampage, consider the adventure force villainator. it's cheaper but the rampage is still amazing.

Yes! you can use a hammer with a screwdriver and hammer the screw driver into the tube. I've done that before and it's worked.

@@polyduckwanaland yea i have done it once. It takes a good amount of banging and elbow grease. It'll come out eventually though. Just keep at it. Be careful not to damage the tube though by putting a hole in the side....

If you rewire to less resistance, and throw in a 11.1v, the gun will be quieter and you’d get around 10 rps

The reason I instructed you to modify the blaster with a 6v battery was to keep it under the 6v limit. Any other voltage higher than that you run the risk of damaging the auto loader. The main point of the mod is to make your infinus rechargeable, not more powerful.

well the only flaw with this mod is current. 4 D cells has a lot more current than this. but this would make the blaster much lighter.

@@foamflingingproductions2182 it will have a slightly slower spin up time. its not that big of an issue if you are doing a regular game but for hvz it could be a slight problem.

Rechargeable batteries are generally lower voltage than non rechargeable batteries which could negatively impact performance.

Bro I can't connect the 9 volt battery to my hyperfire...like in what way should I connect...the shooting engine doesn't start when I connect it

It should work. Just connect the positive wire to the positive lead and the negative to the negative, Take a look at my hyperfire mod video for more details!

Good Question. In this video I laid out the pros and cons of these blasters. Talked about their size and other specs. I then state that it is really up to you. Some people may like the size of the mastadon or the smaller size of the megalodon better. Or some people may like battery powered guns over spring power guns. The choice is yours to make!!
