Hey Simon, not sure if you're reading this, but just wanted to let you know how beautiful this thing that you have created is. And how it clearly speaks to us travellers and storytellers, as a medium. I'm a travel writer who feels the primal passion described by Bukowski everytime I travel, and I'm also a millenial tired of seeing beautiful sunrises set to the same 10 reel songs on my feed. This is the halfway. I just don't know if the Internet is ready for it. Well, so be it. The fact that I've actively looked for this video to cheer me up on glum days says something about resonance, doesn't it? Keep creating.

Thank you so much Sohini. The poem truly inspired me at a very hard point in my life, to just get up and go do what iv always wanted to and this piece of work, is the result of that journey. I appreciate your outlook on this and wish you more Happy travels and stories to experience😊

Aweosom video man .... May i know how did you do color grading ? I liked that tone very much. Did you use any lut or did manually .

Thanks Manoj :) I colour gadded manually, I didn't know luts existed back in 2015 haha, it would have saved a lot of time. I use luts now as a base colour but still grade each clip manually to get my desired look.

@@manojvishwakarma8480 I was in a small car in the North East and the guy was driving like a maniac through the most thickest fog, that's why it was so shaky and I shot that with an iPhone 5s at 25fps.

THIS is exactly what I wanna do! Poetic travel films!! I didn't know there was a name for this but I wondered how I can show ppl the world, while conveying a message and mood through color visuals and poetry.
