I have enjoyed your unboxings of Shadows of Brimstone material and was pleasantly surprised to see you also covering Maladum. Core Space is one of my favourite games and because of this I playtested Maladum. There are similarities between the two, but many of the the changes for Maladum really leaned into the melee aspect, and perhaps will be ported back to Core Space one day.

This was a really fun unboxing, going in blind and letting your imagination run whiled was entertaining! I also have the Kickstarter and one expansion and can’t wait! I also bought the fantasy terrain in the previous Kickstarter so I’m thrilled this includes skirmish rules, I might even get started on Rangers of Shadowdeep using it. Hopefully the game is every bit as good as you imagine, I’m pretty sure it will be! Seriously considering Core Space now!

Dept event 6 is great. Restores all fallen heroes and let everyone heal upp making that spell very powerfull

This is why I hate these blind boxes, you spend all that money and just get a load of stuff you might not want and tons of duplicates. I wish they'd just sell us specific minis instead of making us effectively gamble to get the ones we want, like when we buy an adult dragon or the warband boxes. *sigh*

Might want to consider taking a look at the starting upgrades again and giving Bestial Speed a second look. It seems like the least impressive one, but especially with the right skill choices it's absolutely amazing. You get +1 Move and can spend Move for Rage. Going down the first couple of skill paths (three in the first, all the way in the second is what I usually aim for) you can grab an extra +4 Move, for a total of +5, giving you a MINIMUM of SIX Move and a max of 11, that's without any items to boost it. You get a skill that gives you 2 bonus Rage the first time you gain rage in a turn when in human form. You also get a skill that lets you start next to enemies in any fight that isn't an ambush, so you don't need to spend your Move on... well, moving. And since your Move is ridiculously high, you're usually spending Move on Rage between fights so you don't get too far ahead of your teammates. So in most fights you'll be starting eye-to-eye with the enemy, sitting 1 Rage token away from turning and getting all that extra Combat, and being able to instantly grab 4-5 rage off the hop to toss on top of the pile. It just gives you a lot of predictable Rage that can help you turn, fuel your healing, or add raw damage. It's a lot more convenient than taking Damage to gain Rage, especially when it takes 2 Damage to gain 1 Rage, and 1 Rage only heals you 1 Damage, and while the other upgrades also give you additional methods to collect Rage, they require you either Crit (unpredictable) or just give you a quick boost at the start of the fight (one and done). This just makes Bestial Speed, especially after you have a few levels under your belt and have increased your Move stat, head and shoulders above the other two IMO.

I would love a copy of the book. Waiting for it to come out so I can play with my friends.

Honestly I wasn't too interested on switching to the "new" edition, but ever since they started releasing those videos on how each class was changed, they got me. The concept of trying to double-down on what made each class and subclass special was spot on to make people want to transition to the new books. Super hype about Weapon Masteries. In particular, Nick represents a huge buff to dual-wielding as a playstyle in that it no longer consumes your bonus action, making dual weilding significantly more viable for classes like rogue that have other important uses for their bonus action.

I'm looking forward to getting a close view of the book myself.

This was my first time seeing the book. I've heard a few things and am excited for the release of this handbook. Been playing for decades so I'm always excited for new DnD content. I can't wait to get a copy of this and start testing and playing with my group. There are a couple things I'm already looking to edit but overall this seems like a great edition to 5e.

My DM wants to start a campaign with the New rules. This wold be a good gift because even when it is realised we won’t be Abel to buy it.

The feat revamps are a bit worrying to me because from what I have seen so few feats are available at early levels which is a bit sad. Here's hoping I might win the book!

Long time player, lots of hype for the new manual... unfortunately even thinking about GenCon was out of the question, as I live in Italy, but getting the book would be... well, would be absolutely fantastic!!
