If I'm down, if I'm down, Find me a soft piece of ground If I'm up, if I'm up, Please let me fly all around Don't limit my discoveries By changing all my boundaries Can't you see that I'm not the freeze That I thought I was That I'm not the freeze that I thought I was Spiral staircase to the sun Climbing on it, everyone If they tumble down and break Then we'll know their one mistake They found no love They found no love They found no love Satan sleeps while sweetheart keeps the keys to his car Driving isn't her forte, but she'll take you plenty far If you are too careless she's gonna smash you all apart If you are too thoughtless she's gonna tear out your heart The ultimate breaks and she hits the brakes but she's going much to fast Bright explosion, mind erosion, you're trapped inside your past If you are too careless she's gonna smash you all apart If you are too thoughtless she's gonna tear your heart out Spiral staircase to the sun Climbing on it, everyone If they tumble down and break Then we'll know their one mistake They found no love They found no love They found no love Hands of the clock going round Making syncopated sound Always ticking, endless drone Steady, moving, monotone Seconds, minutes, hours, days All melt into one great haze Altered rhythm, different rhyme Everything must change but time Chimes and gongs, and ringing bells Strike the hours, one to twelve Clanging with authority Time trudges on, laboriously Hands of the clock going round Making syncopated sound Always ticking, endless drone Steady, moving, monotone What do you do, where do you go To build a new life How many years, to flee the fears, and grow a new mind I'm melting... I'm melting... Memory drips through my fingertips As today and yesterday are caught in the squeeze Thoughts are unknown, no color or tone Through the gates of never ever enters the freeze Not the freeze... Not the freeze... Not the freeze... Not the freeze... Fog, mist, rain, snow When will it go? Fog, mist, rain, snow When will it go? There are sometimes Inside my rhymes When all the geometry crumbles all around me There are some places inside some faces That when I look flash burn me, memories of you I love you... I love you... Flash burn, flash burn Flash burn, flash burn Flash burn, flash burn Flash burn, flash burn If I'm the one to measure the pain inside Then I'm the one to count all the times I've died Because I lied When I tried To bring you down There must be an ocean deeper than thoughts Of you I'd drown myself in my last flight for you Yes, it's true I'm losing you And myself too If I'm down, if I'm down, Find me a soft piece of ground If I'm up, if I'm up, Please let me fly all around Don't limit my discoveries By changing all my boundaries Can't you see that I'm not the freeze That I thought I was That I'm not the freeze that I thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was That I thought, thought, thought I was

Yes, from South Africa - Robert "Mutt" Lange, now a renowned international producer, and Stevie van Kerken (later his wife). He later married Shania Twain, now divorced. "When they arrived in the UK Stevie met Dave Dee who was with Warner Brothers at the time and clinched a deal with her husband Mutt under the name of Stephen. They released their first single called Right On Running Man. Mutt went on to become one of the world’s leading record producers although their marriage had broken up they still today remain the best of friends. Stevie Lange Stevie entered into the Session world yet again after the split with Mutt but this time in the UK. The first session she sang on was for Manfred Mann where she met Chris Thompson soon after the meeting she formed a backing group called Bones. When Bones fell apart it was Chris Thompson who approached her to form a group with him. The result was Night a deal was secured with Planet Records which resulted in two US top 20 singles and two albums “Hot Summer Nights” and “The Champ” During this time Stevie was living in the states and through Huey Lewis, met up with the Doobie Brothers, eventually co-headlining an American tour with them. Night finally parted company in 83 resulting in a succession of prestigious jobs in various areas of the industry. For five years on and off she sang with The James Last Soul Choir along with Vicki Brown, Madeline Bell, and the guys Jimmy Chambers and George Chandler and Jimmy Helmes who later became the famous “London Beat”. For two years she toured with Elton John and contributed vocals to albums and singles for artists all over the world. A few who got the Stevie Vann treatment were Elton John, Def Leppard, Billy Ocean, Joe Cocker, Chaka Khan, Dave Steward, Brian Adams, Tina Turner, and Living in a Box. 90’s Stevie Lange Album The late 80’s early 90’s had Stevie playing in Molly Duncan’s “Contraband” throughout Spain alongside The four Tops and contributing vocals to the SAS band Spike Edney’s all Star Band (SAS Band) who she still sings with to this day. Stevie recorded her own Rock Album with Mutt in Nashville in the early 90’s." stevielange.com/about-stevie/

Frohe Ostern!
