I have a lump to the outer side above my heel on my right foot only. I've been having trouble with that leg feeling out of balance with pain where leg joint meets torso. Been seeing a chiropractor for that, but just notice the heel lump today.

This is EXACTALLY what i have. I get discomfort in my left foot which is relieved by walking on the outside of my foot. But now somethings seriously injured on the outside of my foot and i cant walk. The pain is worst after resting. Its real bad, is something broken?

What would you think it would be their doc? I have stimulator in my back and weakness in my legs more so on my left and right I was walking to the bathroom. My left leg disappeared. Like didn’t even feel like it was there and I went down I was able to catch The door jam with my right hand, which spun me and I went down on my elbow with all my weight, I’m 6 foot four 265 pounds. I landed on the elbow and I felt my shoulder pop and it didn’t dislocate. Needless to say I slept on the bathroom floor When I finally was able to get up and move. I noticed now I have a pain in my shoulder, especially if I try to lift it up over my head vertically. It gives a sharp stabbing feeling under the shoulder bone, but rotated back to where that little divot is on the back side of the shoulder?

Can this cause the foot to fall asleep on long runs? I've been having an issue with pain in that area and my foot falling asleep while running. I train for triathlon and my foot will go numb within the 1st couple miles and stay that way for and hour then the feeling gradually returns. Nothing more annoying than running on a dead stump. I saw a doctor over year ago. They took an exray and only suggested a cortisone shot which I refused. The sinus Tarsi pain comes and goes and have run through the pain which only last about a mile in most cases, but the numbing is really concerning and slows my race pace. How do I present this to a expert to get it resolved? I don't want to walk in and say "I saw this on youtube". You can guess how that gets reacted to. Would a chiropractor be able to help vs a foot doctor?

I have had most of my spine above lumbar fused from scoliosis. I am 21 years old and even before my surgery when I was 16, I was never able to touch my toes. I did these stretches for about 3 minutes and was able to touch the floor with the tips of my fingers. I'm genuinely shocked.

I'm actually shocked at how many doctors just go with, you're over weight, lose weight and it will fix it. When there are a lot of causes for this condition. Yes weight is one, but so to is pregnancy, diabetes, fibromyalgia, trauma in that area, wearing tight clothing, belts, seat belts, tool belts, even a right side ovarian tumor. People shouldn't just accept, oh lose weight you'll be fine.

Two years and 2 months into my recovery. Visually I look normal, but still dealing with chronic neck pain on the right side. The pain is definitely less and more isolated to one area of my neck. Pain behind the ear where the splenius capitis and SCM connect to base of the skull. When my scalenes get tight I experience this pain. Stretching and massage reduces this pain. Probably developed some occiptal neuraliga from the whole thing. Also my scalenes are still atrophied. Using body resistance exercises while laying down to strengthen my scalenes. This condition atrophies your traps, surpaclavicular fossa region, scalenes, and rhomboid on the affected side. Everything in the brachial plexus potentially. 36 year old male. These muscles are hard to fix when the innervation of the muscles are affected. Still working on everything and noticing improvements with time. Probably need another year of diligent exercise. Fingers crossed.

I've had multiple back surgeries. Was just told I have Tarsal Tunnel. Left side pain and numbness is from that and not from back. Will start these exercises and see what doc recommends once I have MRi. I did twist this ankle badly years ago. Many people with TT have had ankle injuries

You nailed it for me. When I pushed the head back & to the side it definitely told me it's my pinched nerve from the lower neck. Actually made the spot burn. The burning is what brought me here today. I'm going to check your channel for pinched nerve exercises. Thanks. The nerve pain that I'm experiencing is nasty. If I could only get my hands on it. lol

All these symptoms i have and the inflammation pain is very sensitive to touch, however i am 66 years old and it has flared up i think from a lot of squatting down. Could this be the cause.

Oh, so mine is definitely my new shoes that put pressure on the back of my heel. They hurt a bit at first, but didnt "hurt" me anymore. However, they dont have a lot of padding back there and are very stiff, and ive been doing a lot of walking on them. I didnt understand why it hurt now, since i have walked a lot more in my previous shoes.

Yes so many doctors have no clue about these simple tests they just require expensive MRIs not even that but the reports! which may be even partially correct and things missed with it, as they have no idea what they are looking at or how to assess it without technology having to tell them anyway what i wonder is - are these tests dangerous in case you have tears in your tendons? can these tests make the tears worse? thank you
@drsinghtastic
@drsinghtastic 5 күн бұрын
Well, we cannot totally rely on clinical bed side tests, as these are only helpful in screening. I do perform most of these tests in my office on every single patient of mine. However in order to get a confirmation of partial tears vs complete tears. MRI is still the best imaging technology we have today

You explained this very well. Thank you so much! My podiatrist didn't even tell me about the pads. I learned about them by researching the problem online. Tight calf muscles seem to make the problem worse. I wish that I could get my calves to relax. The flexor hallucis longus (going to big toe) is tight as a guitar string.
