I had ACL reconstructive surgery a few months ago, and then I developed scar tissue, so I had another surgery to remove that and I gained flexion back immediately, which is great. However, I've always been able to hyper extend both of my knees before my injury, and now my surgical side does not hyper extend anymore like my non surgical side does. I have a lot of pain in my tibia/shin (been there ever since the first surgery) and it feels like I still have swelling in the back of the knee. I can't walk without a limp because I'm not able to reach the same level of extension in both of my knees. I'm starting to suspect a cyclops lesion. I dread the idea of having a 3rd surgery on the same knee. Is surgery really the only option to fix this issue? Recovery has been brutal for me and I just can't go through another surgery 😔

I can't fold my knees, if i try to fold it, I'm feeling too much pain. And also when I try to start it getting crackling and snaping.

if the lesion is removed will full extension be reached?
