Amateur here. Why was at 2:46 this move considered a free pawn and why white did not take the knight with bishop?
@Puti-Destroyer
@Puti-Destroyer Жыл бұрын
It's a free pawn cuz of the black rook at e8 and white bishop of c2 at d1 might have done a queen trade !

Yeah 45moves and 100% accuracy even Magnus Carlsen Bobby Fisher and Gray Kasparov combined at their best, couldn't even get a 100% accuracy game with 30 moves, Hans is definitely a fucking cheater 😁😁😁

This is not about humiliation, she always has been a tough oponent. As it stands now, Judit Polgár is the only woman to have won a game against a reigning world number one player, and has defeated eleven current or former world champions in either rapid or classical chess: Magnus Carlsen, Anatoly Karpov, Garry Kasparov, Vladimir Kramnik, Boris Spassky, Vasily Smyslov, Veselin Topalov, Viswanathan Anand, Ruslan Ponomariov, Alexander Khalifman, and Rustam Kasimdzhanov.

@@technoswitch3296 Perhaps the same reason Magnus has recently expressed dislike for classical chess. In this game we have both players smiling and laughing throughout the entire game. Some players just want to enjoy the game without the high-level FIDE drama and I can respect that.

Because it would be checkmate and he loses the game after white queen takes d7 pawn I believe it is which is why he resigned the queen is defending the pawn which is stopping checkmate

Are you kidding? The editing is terrible...also the information provided is partly wrong and partly of someone who has no clue about chess at all. To refer to the name of the opening after 1...Nf6 is stupid, especially in contrast that he is not naming that after 3...Bb4+ it is called the Bogo indian. Magnus lost an exchange and not a piece. Many false conclusions f.e. that his trading of bishops would have anything to do with his gamelosing mistake! It is not to much to ask for to atleast be a half decent player at chess before you make videos like this!

3:45 You should have played a few more moves, to show us amateurs why the game ended here. Off course we can see that the white king is in a vulnerable position. But for understanding the game through Fischer's eyes, we need it to be demonstrated

You are locking in the move as soon as your hand come off. Magnus took his hands off the king for a second and then repositioned because he realized it was a blunder as his hand was coming off the piece. But it was too late for him to move it like he did.
