Mine turned out very greasy..... more so than the recipe I made with tallow 🤔 I did use Shea butter though. Not sure my scale is the best. I could have added too much vitamin e oil maybe.

I can't use any natural deodorant with coconut oil because it is comedogenic and clogs pores. Since deodorants using coconut oil are high on the comedogenic scale, they are more likely to clog your pores and cause ingrown hairs to develop. This is especially true since coconut oil's properties are sitting in a moist dark environment such as your underarms.

Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. It is appreciated! Fluoride is bad for us. Add high quality salt, to add minerals & cleaned egg shells, they provide calcium, minerals, silica. Clean well- boil, bake & grind into a powder.

I tried your method for melting the soap, worked like a charm. It's cooling in the mold now, hope it works out! Thanks at any rate! :) EDIT: it worked really well! thank you very much!

I want to start a plastic free slincare and makeup brand! Im thinking on making a lip and cheek colour "balm". Can you make a video on how to make a non-greasy solid balm, that can be molded into a stick, and doesnt melt at room temperature.

@Iamam3133 ай бұрын
for really stinky pits (like my own) you need to up the mag hydroxide to over 15% (the max amount you can use is 30%)

Thank you for sharing recipe for deodorant with magnesium hydroxide! I found your channel July 31st and since then I have made 2 batches with different essential oils. The first with exact ingredients and Geranium. It did not work for me like I wanted because I would smell musky by the end of the day. The second batch I made yesterday, increasing the magnesium, arrowroot and coconut oil, adding Lavender and Patchouli. It came out as a solid. I have to scrape it to get it out of the container but it goes on dry, not oily AND it worked. I was damp under arm, but not smelly! Very happy!

Hello. Loved this! Can this be put in a deodorant container if I chose to heat it up to pour it in? Like will it still be that same consistency you achieved after it cools and solidifies?
