Nice video! What rack do you use? Is it an aeroe rack supporting a bag strapped to your seat post?
@scout8co2 ай бұрын
Hey thanks so much. Yep you are spot on. It’s an aeroe rack just supporting my Topeak saddle bag. I find it keeps everything nice and tight, no sway and on longer trips with a bit of extra weight I don’t stress about sag on the rear wheel. Bit pricey up front but I’ve used it a lot now with no issues at all.

Great series & looks like a great ride. Not so sure about this Dan Hunt bloke though 🤔 For $350 - $550 id expect him to ride beside me with an umbrella when it rains & greet me at his grand finish with a case if VB & a take away chicken snitty

What a cracking adventure! Super effort all round, and your enthusiasm was frankly infectious. Just binged all the episodes in one hitout! You’re a great storyteller, and that set the series apart. 👏👏👏 But to be honest, you hooked me in Ep1 with the sneaky Mental as Anything cameo. Was that song your dog’s choice!😋 Good luck in the future, and look forward to following your next outing. Thx

A group of mates and myself want to do this 2025!! :) What Tyres were you running on this? I have a gravel bike but I'm worried I might need a few upgrades
@scout8co3 ай бұрын
Hey Laina thanks for the comment. That’s awesome, I’m excited for you guys :) I’ve been running Pirelli Cinturato Medium Gravel tires 40mm for all my rides and I love them. Great tread and I adjust my air pressure for a little added comfort if things get bumpy. I’m sure bigger tyres would be better if you’ve got the clearance but I found anything that was technical enough to need a MTB I was off and walking anyway so I didn’t mind. Hopefully see you on the trail 👍 www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-ww/bike/tyres/catalogue/cinturato-gravel-m

Hi mate. I have a gravel/tour bike. And I was wondering what rack you are using on rear of that bike as I have no bottom eyelet at bottom of rear wheel.
@scout8co4 ай бұрын
Hi Mark, thanks for your comment. I love this rack. It was my first time using it and now I'm not leaving home without it. It's called the Aeroe Spyder Rack (link below). Bit pricey at $240 AUD but well worth it. It clamps on using fabric loops and not bolts that will easily sheer off on bumpy roads. Can add on to it as well and gives options if you don't want to use a saddle bag like I did. I ordered another one the other day for another bike and it was delivered in a couple days. 🚲 aeroe.com/products/spider-rear-rack?srsltid=AfmBOoql965Zc4uyQV20bJ0wrfsq9K-t1WgWAVDEoj7ENCMTIrWv-uY0

Hi, what happened with the drone , did you hit a tree? , or did it lose power and drop in the river?
@scout8co4 ай бұрын
Sadly it was user error. I moved it sideways and my model doesn’t have the obstacle sensors on the sides. Flew straight in a tree and down she went into the river :( I was lucky enough to find it though and save the SD card :)
