Hard control is not that good vs decently build Green boba/ Quira/Krenik (Soft-control) is your best bet to counter Boba

1. Home1,Kryat,Choose are for slowe match ups (hard-contro/soft-control like bossk blue or qira) You sideboard out most 1 drops for those especially clone deserters. 2. Home one is just better for the same cost. 3. You can mulligan quite aggresive with this deck, but for each matchup you look for different things, for example vs sabine you really want to have battlefield marine or vs boba you want sabine etc.

Boba is still a strong deck, but has more bad matchups then in set 1

Karabast rarely can take out something with more than 3hp and outside of turn 1 plays (which most of the time end up being ecl’ed) there is only red 3 that can be killed with it which is cool but enough to justify playing it imo. Sabine is almost the same as any other 2 drop in my eyes if I can kill her in efficiently great but otherwise I won't overcommit just to kill her

@@SWU-SwoopRacers yeah, I get using ecl t1 to take something out, I was talking about sabine decks having on average 20+ units with 3 or less hp, including 6 t1 space units. That Han list already has 6 1 drops you can han into play first turn. 0 drop + karabast leaves you with a unit on the ground, an ECL activation available, and can take out one of the 6 A Wing / X wing even if you don't have one of the 3 Red3 in your opening hand. Also Karabast works later in the game, allows you to finish an enemy unit without wasting any of you untapped units on the board, it can deal way more than 3 dmg in later turns. Just look at the first game and imagine that gunslinger or later akbar was a karabast. I'm not saying it's the best card in the game, just that when facing Han2, it hurts a little more when they play karbast than when they don't, but that could be just survivor bias.

​@@letopizdetzWe’ve tested karabast in the past as side board card vs sabine. In general there are a lot of cards that you can bring that work well vs sabine but neither of them is always hard counter (like scanning officer vs han1). Karabast is really good if you kill sabin’s turn 1 play but there are quite a few awkward parts about it: -if you have initiative you have to pass or you are at risk of her being your desetter/r2. -If you pass you miss all the free wins that you get when sabine misses her turn 1 play (it’s rare but can happen) -it’s tough to keep it in your hand, han is the type of deck that plays a lot of cards so it’s very difficult to keep cards that sometimes are good but also might be blank. Also the value of this card heavily depends on what your opponent has in his hand which you can exactly predict So yeah karabast sometimes can instantly win you the game but is quite unreliable and for that reason I don’t run it. It’s definitely not unplayable but I prefer the consistency of other options more

Meta is so fast that you don't really have time for a draw engine.

It does vs 30hp boba Ecl one is still hard but not impossible

1- Try to play 2 units per round especially in 1st and 2nd round then you have a lot of tempo and good chance for winning race, maz with 2 one cost units also gives you a ton of temp, I don't like bright hope casue he is useless if Sabine doesn't go to space and if you play more then 1 card per round it's hard to keep him in hand, also don't like sundaria cause sabine can easily kill him with fleet/ecl, if you struggle vs sabine I would rather play stuff like mercenary, gamorian retainer and smugglers aid 2-There are a lot of MU were dragon is too slow and home one comes just in time bringing something like echo base and providing restore, when you play vs very slow mu I like the flexibility to bring back more expensive cards like k2, poe or wrecker if game last long enough. The fact that home one gives 2 bodies on the field matters as well cause slow decks tend to have quiet a bit of tall removal so drgon can get one shot by fell the dragon and so on

@@SWU-SwoopRacers I don’t think anyone takes issue with control. Hard control is not fun to play into. Personally speaking. There are already soft control decks in meta like Han blue, and Cad blue.

He did write gg on discord. He was pressed for time and quick dc may be a cause of that.

you can play around takedown and rivals but its much harder.

In tarkin firespray is not that great, i tested it and xanatu but both felt kinda pointless.

also will not work, Ambush allows you to attack when entering play and it will not allow you to use his ability since you will either choose ambush first and it needs to resolve fully to then use his enter's play or you will try to use his enter's play first and since he is exhausted it will fizzle.

Even with covert str he becoms a 3 mana 3/6 that used 2 cards so it is not the best.

the number determines how many units you can sacrifice, each reducing the cost by 2. The number does not effect how much the sacrificed units are worth, only how many of them this card can target. each unit sacrificed by exploit always reduces the cost by 2. So lowest you can cast him is 6 (5 in new han)

Swu with draw 2 and anything being a resource allows you to play a little more situational cards then most card games.

all of those, smuggle helps when you run out of cards, it can boost maz turn 1, it can just feel the mana curve with pushing that little bit of dmg.

Even tho it may look like a uber bad value 7/7 ambush overwhelm that can be used for 6 and in han for 5 mana may be just good enough to see play

@@SWU-SwoopRacers potentially, I think it’s viability will be determined by how well the exploit cost can be fulfilled, which we’ll just have to wait and see the rest of the upcoming set to gauge accurately. But just seems like such loss of value relative to what you gain.

that's why I only see him as a finisher, if you sacrifice your entire board to win the value doesn't matter, and especially in han2, on turn 4 (5 res) you often have your opponent on low hp and with leader up you have (3) units on board.

Govener don’t really stop aggro, since she can’t really trade and even blocking their best card they have others ways to win.
