The pronunciation of Mackinac & Mackinaw is the same. Since France ruled this section of America Mackinac is the French spelling & pronunciations. When Britain took over ownership of the country they Anglized the spelling ( phonetically ...as it is pronounced..naw). Another way to remember is French above the Straits(...ac), British below(,,naw).

Mackinac and Mackinaw are both pronounced with the "w" at the end. I've been on this bridge at least 2 times a year for 64 years and it still makes the soles of my feet tingle from my fear of heights. I'm glad the maintenance is kept up. Some videos of Golden Gate bridge say they haven't painted it in 20 years.

we all have bad days , sometimes I can blind side in perfectly strait without a single pull up and sometimes I can't hit the broad side of a barn backing in the sight side. . so what if if he took a little longer , I guess you've never took longer than 30 sec to back. I'm a girl and chances are I can out manoeuvre you . jerk

if you got a complaint then get off your lazy butt and go tell him. help him. you seem to be the best in the business. you are not a team player. truckers should help each other. your one of those truckers that talk a lot of crap in your truck but doesn't help. your a jerk. Mr. I'm better then everybody. I'm a big bad truck driver. I'm the best. I wouldn't do it like that. bunch of whining in your truck. your what a lot of truckers call a typical whiner. don't care about anybody but yourself. selfish.

maybe Werner trucks don't have POWER mirrors. They are nice and you can Turn them to see everything you need to. Also splitting an empty space is smart. I wouldn't have needed to turn that into a blindside back. Once you are all the way in the hole you pull forward in the direction you want to park, then the opposite direction and lastly in the same direction. This moves the trailer tires over in front of where you want to park and then moves the front of the trailer and lastly the last turn aligns your truck with the trailer, in front of the hole. Then it is a Straight Back. I think your vid would have sounded more instructional if you would have given some tips or tricks of the trade. Other than just saying don't blindside back.
@oldschoolhiphop22758 жыл бұрын
He should've done it textbook. The manuel says use the left mirror.

I didn't know they required 500 feet apart on trucks, but it does make sense. It lets the wind through. Too many trucks close together would create too much wind resistance, and then a truck gets blown over. The Big Mack can be pretty scary sometimes in ways unexpected.

+Matt Cribbin I have been trying to work on it and get things done. Unfortunately some of my equipment I used for recording has crapped out on me. Tax time means new equipment, but it's taking a lot longer than I wanted and a great deal of my time has been occupied doing some killer midwest and east coast runs.

All I hear is complaining never seen you get out noticing the driver was having a hard time and offer help. By the looks of your hood your sitting in a Century which has a tighter turn ratio than that w900 also that 389 has a tighter turn ratio than that w900 so your points are null and void.

At 45 seconds, he actually COULD HAVE taken that spot. You indicated he was in TWO spots, but again, he COULD HAVE just straightened it out and parked next to the trailer only. He felt compelled to park where he finally ended up I guess :)

Paul Engler Or you simply do what I do, and bought a windows 7 developer's copy. Allowing you to simply reformat anything and put a full copy of Win7 on it so you do not have to worry about as many memory leak and compatibility issues! LoL

well that works to, but i am in network security and windows 8 is more secure then windows 7, just the interface is not as good, win 7 is much easier for me to hack then 8 is.

I have daughters older than you! (lol) That should give you a bit of an idea when I say that I had a CB back in the 70's, as to how antiquated I am (lol). Anyway, I've noticed a few changes in the world of the CB, since the 70's. Lingo has changed a little, and obviously there are fewer "users" of the CB out there. Always wanted to be a truck driver, but I gave up the idea when I got my head on straight. Stay safe!!
