So just now seeing the vidoes on 3 Cal and all these products, which look great. I really want to plant this coming weekend (Labor Day). I'm guessing shipping might not get the products to me ahead of weekend planting. Would it be ok to plant one weekend then go back the next weekend and spray? From what I've watched, it seems like it would be ok, just wanted to make sure.

Holy shit!!! John this was the video I needed to add that level of confidence to my application program! I just ran around with the FT3 at 45 psi never giving a hoot about recommended application psi!🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ Now I will get the FT5 and FT 7.5, run at 10-15 psi at 5 mph. I suck at reading directions even thought I know how to read, lmfao! Thanks for finally drilling into my head that application rates and products really do make a difference! I will be getting Northwoods forage oats and probably planting in Crivitz the week after labor day, hopefully that's not to late! You bet starter and liquid lime will be going on top of it as well! Well done and cant wait to see the video on the added 1 acre food plot!

John, Sweet Feast, Seclusion 360 and everything you sent is popping up nice 🎉. It is also hard to beat an old solid axle Honda for working and food plotting. I like to use my old solid axle Honda with a Ground Hog Max and a Boominator type Nozzle as sprays the 3 cal with zero chance of ever getting clogged as is nozzle- less (no nozzle at all) 13 foot swath even on windy days. Appreciate you and your ongoing support beyond words to make my Bishop Archery test lab bowhunting parcels the best they can be over the years. No need to buy seed from KZbin celebrities coming out with their own seed companies when you can go straight to Northwoods and get the real deal knowledge and seed from John.

I started food plotting without knowing a lot about soil and I used tons of pelletized dolmitic lime to get my PH up and it did but now my magnesium numbers are off the charts on my soil tests and I’ve read different things saying sometimes gypsum and calcium in general can help with hi magnesium and I would be curious if Brad thought there liquid calcium product could help with that?

Good stuff,John! I used full spectrum when I planted last weekend. Saved a half gallon of ap and some liquid n to spray a few weeks later. For anyone who plans on using it... The more water the better! Make sure all filters are out, bigger nozzles, and I would atleast have a 4gpm pump. My 2.4gpm pump on my fimco struggled last weekend spraying the calcium,ap, and starter combined. Just ordered a 4.5gpm. Oh and I forgot to take my intake screen out lol So I'm sure that was some of the issue. Brad also recommended for me to use 25 gallons of water per HALF acre. Hopefully it goes smoother next time!

Had a good seed bed on both plots. Only thing I didn’t do was use a roller. Relied on rain the same day of both plantings to get it in the ground enough. Will update here in a few weeks!

First off you have hands down the best brassica blend on the market. That said My experience tells me people plant too early. I have had thigh high brassica with soccer ball size turnips planted last week of July in the north east.. Looked great. Overall attraction, good. Later plantings weeks later. Little less than knee high and baseball size turnips, way way better attraction. Also the after first frost attraction philosophy, I have seen zero evidence of this being true.
