Hi Craig . Are you running 7.3/10.0 nm - progressive spring or is there a 10.0 nm flat rate spring I just haven't found yet
@bvm-moto12 сағат бұрын

Looks like a great venue, wouldn’t mind having a go on the easier route. I’ll keep an eye out for that one. Thanks for the vid as usual 👌

Great vid which has helped immensely. First time doing a carb and I'm going ok so far but how does the white plastic bit come out of the slide please? I just can't figure it out. Many thanks

Brilliant…..shows how crazy the Scott trial is and how important it must be to have a good crew supporting you👍
@jonnytootall1239Ай бұрын
Another good video from BVM, the emotion at the end for just finishing was a good indicator of just how tough the Scott is, 👍

Read the title, Craig is acting as support crew not out to film as such. You can't actually follow the riders around as such. You have to use the roads and certain permissible tracks to get around to most but not all the sections. So not time to properly film the sections. Personally I think it gives a good insight but I am biased. My Dad was an Assistant Clerk of the Course 1961 to 1964 and then a Group Leader based at Bridge End up to 1969 when we moved to Kent. I would add that Bridge End originally did not have those big stones at the top as of nowadays but as very loose it wasn't easy to clean especially as you started out from under the bridge. But modern bikes/tyres changes made. Shame about the rain curtailing the efforts of nearly two thirds of the entry but those Moors are so hard to ride and strength sapping. Then you have the sections to cope with. All against the clock.😅

Rode from 78 to 84,as a kid. I just can not thank enough everyone who did the organization, and observing of every trial I rode in. They were all part of giving me a fantastic childhood of privilege. Usually freezing cold and wet. THEY DIDNT HAVE TO DO IT!!!! Only now in my mid 50's and living overseas with time on my hands,can I reflect and appreciate their efforts. (Even if I thought it was a 3 but you gave me a 5). I'm sorry if I argued with you. Thank you everyone for the time and effort.

They dont make them anymore which is so annoying as they really are the perfect size and shape for most bikes!

Did you jet wash it off after this video?? Is it actually ok to jet wash this bike??
@bvm-moto2 ай бұрын
We used a hose pipe and a decent brush, Then used a bucket of soapy hot water and spunge. Its best not to use pressure washers as this can force water into unwanted places if not careful

Hi, Interested to hear if you used the clutch mostly or the just the throttle?
@bvm-moto3 ай бұрын
I ended up using the clutch like I would on a petrol bike. I found that doing the tight turns with the clutch meant my throttle control didnt need to be so precise. Coming from a modern petrol bike background which is almost impossible to turn on full lock without using the clutch as petrol bikes have high tickovers and super light flywheels this came most natural for me with how little time I had to get used to the bike.

Does this have an on board battery being charged by the motor ?
@bvm-moto3 ай бұрын
Yes, the battery is moulded into the back of the headlight and is charged when the motor is running.
@arriep4bits3 ай бұрын
@bvm-moto that's good, the e-start conversion for the 4rt has a battery which has to be charged by external means and there is seemingly no knowing the battery condition until it's put on charge, not a good system, especially considering the cost
@bvm-moto3 ай бұрын
@@arriep4bits Yeah we feel TRS have really thought about it rather than a after thought. Craig has been riding one all year and doesnt even have the kickstart on the bike anymore as have found it super reliable.
@arriep4bits3 ай бұрын
@bvm-moto it's ironic really, the kickstart mechanism is a weakness of the 4rt (talking from experience) yet to change to electric start the kickstart still needs to be functional just in case the battery runs down on long day
@benj86823 ай бұрын
i have a 2024 TRS ONE R 250. To fit the S3 Hardrock pegs, did you have to drill out the S3 footpegs bolt hole and drill through the footpeg mount on the frame? On my bike the TRS's footpeg mount is threaded and the standard TRS peg bolt and mount holes are larger than the bolt holes on the S3 pegs.
