This video, is exactly why I never wanted any car whose name was dodge,Chrysler or Plymouth. That starter sounded like fork scratching a plate. My grandmother had a 73 dodge dart. When it decided not to start that starter sound drove me crazy. I cannot repeat on here what I used o call that car. Suffice it to say. It wasn't grandmottherly approved names I called it.

Good job. Improvising! And you got it done! Truck weight, leg and levering power made a good team for you! The worst lug nuts ever were the ones, with chrome caps that would let the metal underneath rust and swell. We had fun with those! Do you skateboard or longboard, you have a DC hat! I still longboard, it is fun and relaxing.

The satisfaction of getting a large repair done on your own (OK, your buddy helped a bit) and having it work so nice right off the bat! Good for you, the shifting looked very easy ass as you demonstrated! The BMW lives, even after the latest mishap!

I certainly have to admire your determination and ingenuity getting this done. The logs unfortunately, even when steadied with your feet, absorbed too much of the striking blows, as did the tire. Hard metal, such as short lengths of railway track (anvils) to hold the part, then hit may have worked. But the death wheel worked inthe end. Acetone and transmission fluid on the shaft may have helped to break the splines free to. Cursed no good salt ruins everything. The pistons in the brakes are phenolic material to keep heat transfer away from the brake fluid. Good show, you got it done!
