Bmw e39 "limp" mode and slow acceleration fixed.

So recently my bmw 528i e39 went into a type of limp mode out of now where. The car could bearly accelerated and wasn't drive able. In this video I figures out my problem. Hopefully this video helpes.

Could be mass air flow sensor also could be throttle position sensor. Or maybe the idle air control valve

My e39 have that cable removed is that bad or good?

Good if you don't want that to happen. Bad if you want traction control..either way, it won't hurt

How did u kno your car e39 was în limp mode?

Didn't exactly know it was limp mode but all the googling I did suggest that was the problem since I could mat the gas and it didn't Rev much past 3000 rpm, and took a good while to get to 3000 rpm while under load.

You also have vacuum leaks. The only way a car would run without mass air

Thats a m54 inline 6 m52 is a v8

incorrect. m50/M52/m54 are all in-line 6. m60/m62 are v8. Don’t spread misinformation

M52 is a inline 6 cylinders single vanos M54 is the new version with 2 vanos
