No, unless you have money to keep buying this fragrance after every bottle. The scent does not last long on skin but the smell is 10/10. The bottle is only 2oz but dude the reason I said if you have money for this fragrance is bc you need to spray about 8 times to actually make it last long and project well

I always bowl lathered for years. I used proraso in a tube forever. Recently, I switched to cella. Wow! I bowl lathered for a while, and I enjoyed it, and it worked well. But, I tried face lathering and I now prefer it. At least for as long as I use Cella, which is my only soap. Face lathering is better for me for all the reasons mentioned in this video. Less gear, more hydration / face time, you can feel the lather when it's ready, and of course the scent is much more intense.

I live in a pretty large city, and haven't found anywhere that carries a shave soap. I can't find DE blades. I have to order everything on the web. I like value in a product and I'll pay a little more for it, but I also like saving money. I look for discount codes, which aren't too hard to find. I try to cash in on free shipping, which sometimes means spending more at one time, to reduce the overall cost. Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements, for instance, offers a veteran discount and has a loyalty program.

I wish I could go 2 to 3 days between shaves. But, my genetics don’t allow that. No matter how close I shave I have stubbed by the end of the day.

What are the best blades to use with the Nodachi? I’ve been using Personna “Med Preps” which seem to work very well, as long as I use a very light touch Tried Astra Green yesterday which left a little irritation, which I believe was because of user error?!

Boar brushes stink !?! You know , there is new invention , is called soap . Boar omega is one of the best starters imo .Lather very easy and is good for ingrowns . By the way , last synthetic brush i purchased , released dark water when i soaked her in a bow with soap. So is not a bad idea to wash your new brushes . Dish soap works a charm . Quit pandering and try to chasing cloud , you know how many people love that brush , you just fishing to engagement

Jon, it's great to see you! I have gone back to my Blackland Blackbird SS. I had a Ti for a bit, but I found I preferred the SS and let the Ti go. I've been using soaps and lather creams from my hoard...er...collection. Mikes Natural Soaps, Barrister and Mann, Stirling, Speick cream, AOS cream, Mystic Water Soaps, etc. Purchases have been minimal to non-existent as I already have a ton of stuff. I did snag 2 B&M Reserve Fern from Amazon at $9/each a 1.5 years ago since Will was discontinuing them. They ended up being the Omnibus base! It was my 1st try with Omnibus. I keep 6 brushes up for rotation and the rest in storage. I hope your family is doing well! Cheers! -Rob

Am an Englishman in Pretoria. I am 64 and have been shaving since 1977. My first razor was a Gillette G2 2 blade cartridge razor. I've upgraded to every Gillete multiblade cartrige iteration since. My latest being the Gillette Fusion Pro Glide. 5 years back Gillette releases an advert that is sanctimonious, woke and misandrist. It irritated the living crap out of me. I vowed to get away from the brand, but not until I found an as good or better replacement. This has taken a while. I recently heard about the Henson Al13. After a worrying amount of due diligence, I took a punt and shipped one, plus 100 blades. Cost USD$80 plus shipping and 15% VAT. I'm only 3 days in, and it's a transformative revelation. It is so smooth. It shaves alot closer, is better around awkard bits, such as under the nose and leaves zero irritation. I am completely sold and shall be sticking with it. I also intend to evangelise for it and buy a few as gifts. Starting with my wife, who will be getting the blue Al13 soon. I have shaved in the shower for decades. I use shaving oil - Kings or Nuagé (slightly more viscous) and the ShaveWell 5x magnifying mirror (Amazon). Go well!
