During drop testing, was it considered acceptable if the striker dropped without discharge (as in the striker was stopped by the firing pin block but it still dropped)?

I picked up my HK CC9 the other day. I took it to the range today and it performed great! It is still a little tight (i.e., slide lock, and magazine springs) but I anticipate it will loosen up when I run another few hundred rounds through it next week. It feels great in my hands and I can't wait to carry it as my new EDC. 😎

Don't confuse me with that button release. Call me when you get a paddle release... its one reason why Im in the HK family.

Anyone else have a CC9 with really bad engraving on the slide? Mine is very uneven with spots of bare metal and waviness around the letters. Shoots great! But the finishing on mine is really bad. Haven’t emailed them yet. Hoping they refinish it under warranty.

To the haters, it’s a winner: the most-tested HG ever and the best micro-9 on the market. The CC9 is the new king! That said, they’re aware ppl are pissed about the lack of paddles, so let’s optimistically expect a paddle-version lower module. (The serialized firearm is the FCG inside like the P365 Series has-only better.)

This would have been absolutely perfect if it were a USP or P30 of this size. Absolutely perfect. I'd have bought 2 just because. This design is just not it HK.

I've watched a lot of videos on this gun. The "looks like a Taurus" tards are something else. STFU and go buy a Taurus. When I saw this gun released, all other considerations went out the window. CC9 for me it is. I know I'm getting top quality, reliability and longevity with this gun. Oh, I couldn't two shits about a paddle mag release.

I'm soooooo tired of hk 'fans' hating on the cc9. It's not what I was expecting to be the next release, but I can't wait to get one. Well probably two. 👍

Why does MAC no longer do the Gauntlet test. HK VP9 didnt do well in that test but the USP did. I just watched them for the fun of it, like some would watch sports I guess :)

I am a huge HK enthusiast, but I will stick with my USPc or SK, Kahr, and P365. I was hoping for SPF9cc The market is flooded already with guns similar to CC9
