Good work be proud of what your pulling out of that Allen and Heath ,, I would bet my life on those art tube compressors 2 win super expensive gears worth looking at ? The best neve compressor 4 grand also the hum audio look ahead limiter (LAAL) 8 grand , I would rob a bank to put those across my master out of my consoles,, my theory is to connect a minimum of 4 consoles together maybe 5 last one will have 2 have fader volume automation that's one will have to be a SSL , it's I'm getting ruffly 50 channel consoles 1) my gamble ex 56,, 2) my sound craft series four// I'm tracking say threw 50 channels I'm connecting the direct outs of each channel to the line in on the next console tracks 1 goes out to track one in on console 2 then direct out of track 1 from the 2 console goes to tape machine then I'm going back out from tape to the input of the 3 rd console then into to the 4th the last mixing console ,, any way there is a company out of Texas I think something audio I would have to look them up but for 600 ish you can buy there Art vla tube compressor and it's modded out to help and back since the normal one sounds so good they claim there's is twice as good or better,, so thats one way to fix compression just get a bunch of used art vla and link them together if need be , BECAUSE used gear prices have dropped so much is why I can build a super crazy studio now with 4 consoles connected together end result with me engineering it people bands will want to record threw it ,, cheers mery Christmas 🎄 👽

Who ever said You couldn't get a "Professional" sounding product obviously didn't see what I just saw. That IS a Professional recording Studio !!!! Man You can sit it that Room with the Units idling and feel the harmonics like spirits (good ones ) w/o touching anything. You can catch a vibe off the sound of the cooling fans on the power supplies. A Dream come true. Thanks for sharing this one. It was Quite fitting because I just finished cleaning and testing Used Sunn SPL-22121 I got for the low. I'm going to run the outs on My MPC Ren and the MPC Live2 thru this bad boy to see/hear what We get out of it.

Use your own equipment for production and drop your product for mastering at a major studio. Not to mention. How many folk are gonna get a deal? Write music because you love it, not to get a deal or to get rich.

100% correct about the music business. Most engineers are full of crap about their "Golden Ear" talk. When they start saying things like "Not Usable", "Usable", or "Not Musical" I immediately think they don't know crap about the sciences and making music. Everything is usable if you know what you're doing. These engineers are like groupies really. Because their favorite celebrities used them and they cost thousands $$$ more, they think it will make their stuff sound better. It's all false. And I will prove any engineer wrong. Also, most of them do not understand the sciences behind sound. If you think an LA2A, 1176, U47 is a must need to make a hit, I'm almost sure you never worked on or made a hit. And if you have as an engineer, it's not your work that made the hit, it was the writers of the song. You're just there to press the record button. Know your place. Many engineers including the good ones have made a mess out of music with their BS Golden ear talk. All full of crap. 19 year old in Russia made a hit song by remixing (on his home computer) a song that was recorded in a pro studio, and his sounded way better too. You can take this Alctron and record a better-sounding mix than people with a $1000 neve.

YES, but for mixing and especially mastering, you still need a good room with proper acoustics, nice monitoring system and most of all - a specialist with experience that has and knows what he is doing.

So why aren't people creating music sounds similar to the 1980's?. This is 2024! shouldn't there be Futuristic Music?. Rap has been around for over 45 years! it's time for it to fade Away! it has had it's time in the Spotlight!. Now it's time for something new to come along and Replace it!. The Sugar Hill Gang's 12-inch single "Rapper's Delight" - Released in 1979 - became the first rap song to be played on the radio. The 15-minute song was edited down to six and a half minutes and reached Number 36 on the pop charts, making it the first hip-hop single to become a Top 40 chart hit.

Recording studios are dinosaurs. AI will replace engineers, and the listening public doesn't know the difference. High-profile producers will fade away as musicians learn to work alone. I've made and released 25 instrumental singles since COVID. I'll NEVER set foot in a recording studio. My studio is my bedroom .... it's free.

I see it like this...If I buy a pencil, does that make me an artist? If I buy a football, does that make me a footballer? And if I buy a drum kit, does that make me a drummer? Ok, so, if I buy a studio, does that make me a recording engineer or a producer? My point is, anyone can buy anything these days, but it doesn't make you good at what you do, that takes time & effort and you gain knowledge & experience as you go Great video dude

Too many engineers burnt musicians and writers by doing under handed moves with material they tracked. Once people could record at home and stop paying theives they saved money.

Believe it or not I've been in the music for the last 30 years and then wrapping underground for about the last 20 and really kind of cut myself short from really blowing up because I change professions jacket still come out with something right now and be in beautiful condition and it would definitely be a hit but I stopped going to studios and probably 2011 send KZbin started to evolve microphones and everything else me and my homeboys used to make our own recording booth inside like a closet of a house we used to one of my buddies had a house that was like abandoned and it was just like a party house and he had the one closet set up just for recording it was a makeshift Booth but it did pretty good man you know you could actually have put out a hit and this was 20 years ago and then when it starts becoming readily available at our fingertips beat makers and all that bullshit I just start hearing good beats off the internet doing a little mix to them putting them in my own system like froot loops or the other system I use I can't think the name of it but it's another common set up for like beginners and home usersand believe it or not a lot of my shit I mean it's not like crazy Dr Dre quality but it's good enough to get your demo out I don't have to deal with nobody the only thing that says about going to the studio is you can be live with live bands and everything else and really have everything composed and really put together a nice sounding song but with the technology today another person that you're making music with can spit diverse send it to you and you can adapt in their voice over your beat for your voice over there be exedra call from PDF and such Forth but it does help and it is nice to have somebody with a nice recording studio

Lot of truth here, but my mixes still sound pretty muddy. Mixing and mastering will take a while for me to learn, you can't learn that overnight.
