I really liked Eleanor Oliphant. Sarah, I think you would also like Scripted by Fearne Cotton. The author is a UK broadcaster and author, she normally writes non-fiction mental health related books and has a podcast called Happy Place. Scripted is her debut fiction novel and it is absolutely amazing. I gave it 5*, if I could give it 6* I would. 😊

Sarah: I told you awhile back that I picked up The Teacher at a Little Free Library. I haven’t read it yet. 😬 I have The Housemaid. That may be the next book I read and will be my first Freida McFadden book. Plus my daughter gave me The Housemaid Is Watching and The Housemaid’s Secret for my birthday. Char: Do you recommend A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder be read without reading the other books in the series or should I skip the whole series?

That’s great! The Housemaid is a good pick to start with! The 1st book in Good Girls Guide series is a must read, it’s a 5 ⭐️ but the others you could skip or tackle at a slower pace if you do so choose. However you won’t miss anything if you skip them. At least this is my take. 😊🫶🏾

I dont have a lot of storage so I only buy special books and classic books. I have a kindle and also use kindle unlimited. I love it i have read whole series on kindle unlimited. I have been known to break the bank on books 📚 😊 I love thrifting books and of course using the library. Happy reading

Hey ladies. Happy 2025! I read Pumpkin Heads in October and loved it. It's my second graphic novel, first being The Secret Garden adapted by Mariah Marsden and illustrated by Hanna Luechtefeld. The first Colleen Hoover books I read It Ends With Us and the other one. Hated Verity but I finished it. Won't even give November 9 a thought!!! 😂

Use a hair dryer on low heat to remove the book stickers…they will peel off so easily…it works really great and fast!

Love y’all’s Library..And those chairs look so comfy to sit and read..And something you might want to try is when removing stickers take a blow dryer and heat the sticker up until the glue is heated then ease the sticker off. All or most of the sticky will come off with the sticker.📚❤️

New subscriber, LOVE that you're a mother daughter duo ☺️ Thrift stores and Dollar Tree for books are my FAVORITE!! My local thrift stores (PA, USA) have books for $2 each, $6.99 is a little 😬 but still better than cover price!!

Thank you so much! 😊 We love thrifting too, $2 per book is great! Some thrift store prices really fluctuate, one time we a found book that was $9.99 😮💨 But as long as it’s in good condition and under the cover price we’re happy! 😁😂

Great haul on getting the books you’ve been wanting, been on the fence with the Magnolia Parks series while watching I went over to book outlet and picked up book 4 Daisy Haines the great undoing a good way to stash the the series. Not the Davenport being church ladies … Bahahahaha! You have to get the second book! It just came out. I loved both books. It’s also Historical Fiction, post the US Civil War and the Reconstruction period for African Americans. It’s also loosely based on a real African-American man who started a coach company post slavery.
