You never mentioned insurance, insurance will become invalid if you speed, as the cars ecu will store your speed and the insurance companies will have access to that data. The police will have access to the speed and location, you will get a fine for speeding and having no insurance 🤔😉. The politicians don’t want us to be free to travel, this is part of the plan being implemented to stop free movement with our own personal transport. I charged about 10 times at Ionity with my Taycan: it did start automatically all 10 times. So it does work, if it is activated correctly. About the depreciation: it is at a normal level for a luxury sedan if you exclude the extreme expensive Turbo-versions.

*As a RS Etron owner there are a couple of things I hope they fixed. 1) It defaults to whatever your previous drving mode was.The current one resets to comfort which is annoying. 2) Add a sync button to the climate control so you can adjust all zones at once. 3) Better self driving software. My 23 Model X blows the Audi away here. 4) More range. My Tesla's blow this away too.*

It's not the car. It's your mistake. You should be an owner of a leaf if you want cheap local short distance driving requirements satisfied. And if you can accept home charging only. And if you want a highly dependable maintenance free car. I'm.on my third and love my 2023 Nissan Leaf Plus!

Oh I know. I bought one this winter. I lost a TON of money on my (used!) EV. However... I'll just keep driving it, because I love it. I'll just drive and drive until it gives up. Long way to go. For newcomers, DO IT! Find the right one. They are AWESOME ! ! ! If you can charge at home that is.

.... I used to want PHEV. Now that I have an BEV, I am glad I did, and no longer have any desire for an PHEV. I plug it in when I get home, and I never need any gas. Range anxiety didn't take me very long to completely get over it. Every bit of range that the car says you have left, you really can use. It's not like with a gas car, where you have this drive to not arrive home with a near empty tank. But with a battery, it is ok to arrive home near empty. It's a whole other mindset. DC fast chargers can fix you up for those trips that are too far away from home. BEV all the way. I recognize that it doesn't work for everyone, but I do think that a whole lot of bad information makes the circles. People need/should wean themselves off of gas. It's nice to never burn it. BEV rides so so nice too. You just have to experience it. So drop the criticism against BEV and just go for it, I tell you, tell everyone !

The 0 to 60 is a disappointment... dual motor tesla model 3 beats it. Come on Porche. Nice range tho, but electric notable performance cars should do 4 sec minus to 60. And below the 2 sec for the fastest configuration, at least. Feels like a fail at 86k. Good thing that it handles like a Porche, but that should be an expected standard for a porche.
