I’d like to point out: As of 2024, the vast majority of sex trafficking victims are NOT American, as Xavier states around six minutes in. I understand this was produced and aired only a few years ago, but I have huge doubt that was in fact the case back then either. I want to also make clear that not all prostitution is performed by men and women who are trafficked humans. This documentary nearly suggests the opposite. This assumption is unfair to both humans who choose to sell sex of their own volition, as well as to humans who are robbed of any consent to do so and are forced and/or coerced.

I live in San Diego and we had a hotel that was well known to be the hotel that you go to for prostitutes. Everyone knew and it took so friggin long before they raided the hotel and closed it down. It's now a new hotel, but I bet they still do some business there. Yeah El Cajon Blvd is "The Blvd". It used to be the popular street for prostitutes, but now you see a lot of them strolling the main strip where the Navy bases are and they KNOW when payday is and on payday some service members will purchase even if they are underage. It's sickening. I used to work at an Adult store and you would see pimps bring in their girls to purchase clothes (lingerie) and heels maybe some chrome jewelry for their "girl" and we couldn't intervene at the time because it would be dangerous for her, but we have police stop by daily, so we would show them the surveillance so they know who to look for, but you don't know if they did anything about it. Some pimps tried to recruit me. I was in my early 20s, but looked like I was still in HS. Parents if you have a teen even if they are males (young boys are becoming popular as well) have them watch these documentaries in hopes that they don't fall for the game. San Diego has a long way to go.

We have been hunted for centuries. Men do not respect, honor or cherish us. The most 'decent' will bend to their lust and sometimes for sport alone, go after us with no care as to how their attacks affect us. Never trafficked here, but assaulted, date raped, dissed (no one lays a hand as they'd have a cat fight and they must sense that. It was always a Romeo or grooming approach). GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLFRIENDS,! 🥀 PS. My church of 20 years where I tithe has major investment to rescue, shelter, support and hopefully create opportunities for trafficked girls and women. Shiloh house I believe is one partner. Blessings sisters

Beautiful piece. My distant cousins of that region knew what they had. A very sacred, spiritual, cosmic frontier. I love that people have discovered it, but I also hate that they have because we are just so reckless and careless about the environments we impose ourselves upon. Love the song there at the end. Where can I find it?

people know about this but they have been brainwashed to idolize celebrities and to believe "it's jut a song". I never believe lyrics are just words but in fact it's a message about the realities of the world we don't see happening. People can not talk about this because government officials take part in this, they purchase humans for sexual pleasures including boys and girls. It is all paid and hushed up so no one gets caught and if anyone speaks out about it, well there will be consequences beyond our imagination. In eastern Europe, pimps and owners threaten the victim by telling them if they speak out about it, they will go after the family members so these girls have no say, the are completely hopeless. I believe the reason why poverty still exists in our World is to gain access to vulnerable women and kids. Poverty means business opportunity for some.

I am habitually heartbroken and furious for the cis females that were forced into this capitalist hell hole trap. Although the numbers are supposedly lower, the victim I know is a cis male from a wealthy family. The culture does not allow for him to even process his story as it further strips him of his manhood and is unspoken in his WASP community. It would be his fault. All exploited are equal and deserve our help, gender and sexuality be damned.

@relaxationstation73748 ай бұрын
The human trafficking numbers are mind-boggling simply because the himan trafficking numbers have long been bold-faced lies, primarily because they've never, ever had any real, solid numbers. So if you listen closely, human trafficking activists will always say that, "This isn't about numbers or we don't want to focus on numbers." Because they know that their numbers are totally impractical bold-faced lies. How can 100,000,000 women and girls per year be trafficked in a country whose entire population is less than 332,000,000, that would mean that nearly 1/3 of the females in America were being trafficked which would put a woman or girl on the corner of every street in this country every day of the week and any sane person knows that that is absolutely not reality. However, when faced with these bold-faced lies women are like, "We know that they're lying but let's roll with it!" because women totally love bold-faced lies and totally senseless drama. That's precisely why you've never heard one single woman complain about black men who are accused of human trafficking being sentenced to hundreds of years in prison while white people like Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell are only sentenced to 20 years in prison and white women who have been out recruiting for pimps (including the Epstein Girls, many of whom recruited each-other into Epstein's international operation) are sentenced to Therapy, while black girls who have done exactly the same things are paraded through the media as ghetto pariah as opposed to being hailed as feminist heroine and showered with hundreds of millions of dollars in praises and prizes. Since we don't really have a proper educational system in North America, people don't immediately recognize that such judicial inequities are in-fact Apartheid Sentencing.

17:08 The Pimp and Madame were regal titles which were associated with the capitalization of the economic operations for which prostitution during courtship was once honored. Now, tricksers, often shortened as tricks, infiltrate communities to mislead and mismanage the affairs of those involved by of the managerial roles which Pimps or Madames respectively serve to undermine these efforts because of impoverished views which falsely limits the sexual competition that still persists. The abuse of power is the laziness of con-artistry that allows such offenses to go unnoticed.
