Always thought of the 50 as a choke point defense weapon. This looks a lot more mobile than I'd originally thought. Might have to try with a BFG50.

Hello. It's me from working at the noisy place and needing you to comment later to remind and then I had quite the ramble... From the Fallujah video of yours. I am once gain going to ramble: first of all thanks for the video. I have not wacthed it yet here goes. 1. Can isuggest painting Bertha Black 4.0? The blackest paint in the universe. 2. Let's make carbon fibre accesories for Glocks. I have experience with CF, I used to help make CF wheels for Ferrari. I did not like my bosses. 3. In 2026, Berreta will celebrate its 500 year anniversary. Perhaps you could make a video series Titled "500 years an Apprentice" and end it 2026. You could shhot different pews from different periods at different peasants. Perhaps Berreta could co-sponsor with Red Bull and Oprah. 4. Purchase the three versions of the KORTH PRS, cross over episode with @1911Syndicate - tell F!reBeard I sent you. 5. Start an internet Slap Fight with Poledancer Tacticool - as they are Serbian and I am 1/4 Bosnian and 1/4 Croatian. 6. Let's get weird with James Reeves Mailroom. Like Diddy Weird. 7. I f you want enagement from eli1776Duck from Gabot and ACW - harass him to make a 1911 in 10mm, 30 Supercarry and 17 Hornet. He hates that. 8. Help me start a land war with New Zealand, they know what they did. "Every Tuber in the world could be yours if you just listen to my plan. The teenage guide to popularity." B.H.S. I am sharing this knowledge with because you, NEO -are the Choosen One.

The projectile was used extensively in special operations & some marine units during the GWOT. Was originally meant to be used with the 18” MK12 SPR for long range precision. But then its enhanced terminal performance was noticed over M855. So units that could afford it (CAG & DEVGRU mostly) started using it in their 10” MK18’s & HK416’s. Most of those guys will tell you the round was a very effective man-stopper in CQB from their SBR’s.

I hear you bro. I think if I had an 14.5 inch barrel or shorter, the outcome would have been different. Or like you say, if it was longer range and the velocity was a bit lower I also think the neck would be shorter. But, for my rifle at my engagement distance, I think I will stick with the 68 grain Hornady Frontier Defense I tested last year =)

this idea fucks. you gotta paint the rifle to match your camouflage tho, maybe add a lightweight optic like an eotech or a 3x prism. thermal scope in tandem with the sights would be cool as well.
@MrLedFarmer033125 күн бұрын
I think you meant sucks? I kinda like it your way though ;) I did a video on a camo wrap for it but KZbin isn't putting that one in front of people sadly :( and I am working on finding a LPVO because I did have the idea of a prism but I can't find one that can handle the recoil. The primary arms is only rated for a SCAR 17. So next season you will see that scope, I blew my load buying M8 API ammo because I was a Marine who hit 9 out of 10 times at 500 yards using iron sights and my eyes are still pretty darn sharp!

This is a completely flawed test. You should've had denim and cotton tee-shirt layers on the test medium that most likely would make for faster expansion.
@MrLedFarmer033127 күн бұрын
If you go back in my videos to the Hornady .68gr ammo, you will see bare gel is a good test, this ammo is just not designed for a 16 inch rifle firing from 7 yards. If I had a 14.5 inch or was hitting it past 200 yards, then I think we would have seen that energy dump sooner. As far as the "flawed test", that other test should show pretty well that the flaw rests with the design, not the test. I would love to see a video with the layers you propose and perhaps one day you could do one and post it. =)
@gunfighterman1-527 күн бұрын
@@MrLedFarmer0331 I'm running a Sig 516 10.5" suppressed SBR using the IMI 77gr Razor Core as my go to defensive load. The reason for labeling this a flawed test is if used in a defensive incident (God forbid) the threat will most likely have layers of clothing on. Sure I'll do a correct test just ship me the gel blocks and I'll do the rest.
@MrLedFarmer033127 күн бұрын
@@gunfighterman1-5 and there in lies the issue most people don't see. These blocks are about 90 bucks a piece and I will not be sending them to anyone lol. Another point, if you did your test with that SBR it would also be flawed in the sense that most people aren't running SBRs, they run 16 inch for the most part.

Wow D. I can't tell you how proud I am to know you and to be someone you call friend. I recall years ago you shared a bit of that day with me but hearing you describe it in more detail was an incredible blessing to me. Your heart, your love for other veterans, your humor and your faithfulness to Jesus in sharing of His love for others. I can only begin to imagine all that you saw and felt that day and every day since. In all the chaos, God used you to bring calm and comfort to the surprised doc who was baffled at your capacity to joke right then and to the marine who needed your outstretched arm. I see the irony in the Sgt's joke regarding your ability to "lend a hand" in one scenario, and then you literally did moments later although severely in pain yourself, to care for a fellow marine. You're an incredible man, my friend. And you're a serious blessing to many.

I've read several books about Operation Phantom Fury/the Battle of Fallujah. "No True Glory" by Bing West was the best I've read about the battle. It's always interesting to hear first-hand accounts from veterans who were actually there. Thank you for telling your story. I'm a former Marine myself, but I wasn't infantry. My MOS was aviation ordnance. I'm not a combat veteran and I always say to infantry Marines: "I was just an airwinger. You, on the other hand, were a REAL Marine." Respect to you and all other infantry Marines.
