If I could get away with it I'd have done this years ago when we had our two Burmese. I did get to build them a ceiling high cat tree and our current Siamese still uses that and loves to lay on the top shelf just under the ceiling. Well done Tim!

Very nice, I think the thinner body makes the light look even more impressive and is refreshingly different to most others I've seen. I'm a new starter at turning and have just enjoyed making a simple lighthouse without illumination using black walnut and cherry. You've spurred me on to start a bigger one incorporating a remote controlled light that can dim and change colour so I will only take the top off to fit new batteries.

Sound a lot like me doing lots of different projects usually for family and friends and I have the project car which I noticed yours looks like a hornet. Hope you have a great Christmas and great job on the ornament.

Nice project. I do have a tip for filling a void with CA. Try to match up the color of the crack with some very fine sawdust from your shop. Temp it into the crack with a bamboo skewer, then hit it within see a glue which will run deep into the crack, fill it up and then hit it with the accelerator. It may smoke a bit. And then sand it off and you have a perfectly filled crack.
